I love to slow cook; all the nutrients stay in and the flavor is superb! The roast will be so tender it will fall apart when you touch it with a fork!. Yummm!
Put a layer of sliced carrots/potatoes in the bottom of a crock pot (slow cooker); add the roast; put spices on top; quarter an onion if you wish; add one cup of water; put lid on!. Set on low and cook for 6-8 hours!. Delicious!
You can do the same on the stovetop in less time (about 3 hours); the slower you cook it, the more tender it will be!. Just use a bit more liquid (water/broth), cover, set on low!.
I hope this helps!. Enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

My MIL puts a pork roast in a crock pot with sauerkraut all day!. Adds mashed potatoes and dinner is served!. Although, I know a lot of people don't like sauerkraut!.
I like to put the pork roast in a crock pot (I guess I keep assuming you have one ;) with my favorite BBQ sauce all day and then shred it with a fork!. I serve it will fresh hamburger rolls as pulled pork sandwiches!.
This is making me hungry ;) Hope you find something to make-pork roasts are yummy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Go to the grocery and pick up a bottle of Emeril's Essence, or go to the Foodnetwork site and get the recipe and make it yourself!. http://www!.foodnetwork!.com/food/recipes/!.!.!.
Sprinkle the Essence on all sides of the roast and rub it in well!. It is best if it can stand in the fridge overnight, covered, but a couple of hours will do!.
Put the roast into a covered baking dish and bake it at 350* F until the internal temperature reaches 160*F!. Remove it from the baking dish, place on a cutting board and cover with aluminium foil for 10 minutes or so to let the juices redistribute!.
While the roast is standing, drain the juices from the baking dish into a skillet!. Bring to a low boil and add two or three tablespoons of all-purpose flour, stir or whisk it well to prevent lumps!. After the flour has started to turn light brown, add some water whisking to prevent lumps!. Simmer, stirring frequently until the gravy is as thick or thin as you wish!.
Carve your roast into slices!. Ladle the gravy over the pork slices after you plate it!.
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice!. The gravy will go well with either!.
