Question: How can I prevent my homemade scones from getting soggy by the 3rd day!?
I make these blueberry cornmeal scones and they are absolutely delicious but when I store them in a plastic bag they get soggy!. How else can I store them so they'll last a few days without loosing their flaky texture!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Store them in an air-tight container - lined with paper towel, not a plastic bag (which sweats)!. You could also put some bi -carb in the container to soak up any moisture if desired!.

If they are so delicious they should not need to be stored for very many days - they would be eaten!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

HELLO
YOU WILL HAVE TO PLACE IN A PLASTIC BOX IN LAYERS WITH KITCHEN PAPER IN BETWEEN SO THEY CAN BREATH, AND LET MOISTURE OUT LET COOL FIRST, MAY BE BETTER IN FRIDGE
OR TRY LEAVING IN OVEN ON A RACK WHEN COOL AS THE AIR CAN CIRCULATE BUT KEPT AT A STEADY TEMPERATUREWww@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with the air tight container!. You can also put them in the freezer to make them last even longer!. Though you need to know how to defrost them properly!.!.!. it takes a bit of technique to defrost them in the microwave!Www@FoodAQ@Com
