How do I make Roasted Turkey Drumsticks in the Crockpot?!


Question: How do I make Roasted Turkey Drumsticks in the Crockpot!?
I already have a spice rub for the drumsticks, but should I add any liquid, and for how long should I keep them in there!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Broil them for a few minutes in the oven first to get browning!. They will not really brown in the crockpot!.

I put maybe 1/4 or 1/2 cup of water or broth at the bottom of the crock pot!. It doesn't take much!. If you're cooking vegetables along with it, you may not need any water at all!.

How long to cook!? It really doesn't matter, on low, 5-8 hours at least!. If it goes 12 hours, no harm!. If you're in a rush, crank it up to high for 2 hours!. This assumes you're making like, just 2-3 drumsticks, not stuffing the pot to the limit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Turkey Drumsticks in the Crock Pot

Ingredients
4-6 turkey leg
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
1/4 cup water


Directions
1Place turkey legs in Crock pot!. Sprinkle with onion soup mix!. Add 1/4 cup water!.
2Cook on low 9-10 hours until done!.
3Juice can be thickened with flour or cornstarch for gravy!.

Crock Pot Turkey Drumsticks

Ingredients
1 (10 ounce) can enchilada sauce
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
6 turkey drumstick
3 tablespoons cornstarch
3 tablespoons cold water


Directions
1In a bowl, combine the enchilada sauce, chilies, oregano, garlic salt and cumin!.
2Place the drumsticks in crock pot and top with sauce!.
3Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 180°!.
4Remove turkey and keep warm!.
5Strain sauce into a saucepan!.
6Combine cornstarch and water until smooth and stir into the pan!.
7Bring to a boil and cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened!.

First boil your legs with this liquid recipe for about 25mins!.
1 (2 liter) bottle lemon-lime flavored carbonated soda
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons hot sauce
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 large sweet onion, sliced

Remove legs and let cool!.
Add
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon oil

Brown them first, in a pan or under the grill, for flavour and put in crock-pot!.
You could add a can of chicken soup and water/milk!.
