I want to make cookies....when a recipe says "one large egg" does that mean one egg?!


Question: I want to make cookies!.!.!.!.when a recipe says "one large egg" does that mean one egg!?
I don't get why they say "large"!. So is it basically one egg!? I'm trying to find a good recipe online to make chocolate chip cookies (if you know a good one, please tell) So, is one large egg basically one egg!?!? Thanks :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Eggs are medium, large and extra large (may sometimes say jumbo)!. Get a carton of eggs that has Large printed on the outside!. Use one egg!. That's all it is!. Most people buy large eggs anyway, you probably have them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

One large egg would be one egg that is on the bigger side!. It is basically one egg!. =]

I love this recipe for chocolate chip cookies ( i luv cookies look at my avitar!.

They are yummy toll house cookies :)

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preheat oven to 350 F!. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside!. In large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; beat until creamy!. Beat in eggs!. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well!. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts!. Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets!. After baking, let rest a couple of minutes on cookie sheet before removing!.
Time: 13-15 minutes Makes: 100 2" cookies

Serving Size: 24!.

Eggs come in different grades, small, medium , large and exxxtra large!. I always by extra large just to save any confussion!.

The absolute but receipt is right on the chocolate chip package!. It has been uesed for years from girls scouts to cook outs and they always trun out great!.

Just a note, a chocolate chip cookies is Americans favorite, double your batch, you'll be glad you did and if by chance there are ny left over, you can have them for a snack later or give them to the thostess as a thank you give for inviting you!.

eggs come in sizes!.!.!. small medium/regular large and extra large!. the reason the recipe calls for a large egg, is to ensure the proper amount of the ingredient is added!. Most people buy large/extra large eggs!. If you have extra large, that's fine too!. I think the best chocolate chip recipe is the one on the nestle chips bag!.!.!. and i recommend parchment paper on the pan, it helps keep things neat, and reduces burning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

toll house has a good chocolate chip cookie recipe, so does mrs!. fields, but toll houe is easier!. one large egg means one egg, but a small egg might not be big enough, hence large egg!. yeah, basically one egg!. :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

I have never met a recipe that called for one egg that by adding two hurt anything!.!.
what if you only had goose,, duck eggs!.!.

Eggs aren't really all the same size, so they mean pick a big 1, won't make much of a difference if you just use a regular egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
