Answers:
Use a thing called a double boiler!.
It is essentially two pots!. The lower put contains water than boils on the stove-top!. The upper pot has your melting chocolate!. The upper pot sits in the hot water!. It ensures that your chocolate cannot get hotter than the water beneath it!.
You can either use a store-bought double boiler, or just float a Small pot in the larger pot of hot water!. Be careful with the second method so you don't get burned by the hot water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Use a double boiler like the other posts say, but if you don't have one, use a pot of water with a metal bowl over top!. Be patient!. also, I wouldn't add anything!. The chocolate will melt by itself!. If you want a thinner chocolate, use a little milk or heavy cream to make a ganache!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Use a double boiler or a pot in another pot filled with water!. The stove heats the water and there are no hot spots to burn the chocolate!. You can usually use a makeshift by using a pasta pot for the water and a smaller pot (preferably one that fits good)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
chop the chocolate up and put them in a microwave safe bowl and then put it in the microwave set for 1-2 minutes and stir every 30-40 secondsWww@FoodAQ@Com
add water, but make sure it wont spoil the taste of the chocolate!. if your gonna add 1 cup water, make sure chocolate has a larger amount than water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
just keep the heat low!.!.be patient thats all!.
Other wise put it in a glass(oven proof) bowl, over a pot of boiling water (off the heat)Www@FoodAQ@Com
