We are having grilled hot sausage sandwiches for dinner, with onion and peppers!. What would be a good side dish besides french fries or onion rings!? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Awesome question!. I'm a big fan of grilled brats!. Go with some chilled beer, lays potato chips, maybe some dill quarters, baked beans!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

With sausage, I would say some kind of braised cabbage with bacon would go nicely!. Some kind of greens would also compliment well, mustard or collard if you're trying to go for a nouvelle soul/southern approach!. Macaroni and cheese is always a great match!. Roasted red potatoes seasoned with a little fresh thyme and a touch of rosemary with caramelized onions and a little parmigiano reggiano to finish would also go nicely with an italian sausage or any kind of sausage for that matter!.

Hope this helps!.

I'm a huge fan of baked beans with something like that!. A hot potato salad would go great as well!.!. there is a recipe on www!.GourmetForOne!.net for a great hot potato salad, it's a single serving recipe, so you might have to do a little multiplication depending on how many your feeding!.

Hope your dinner is fantastic!Www@FoodAQ@Com
