GARLIC MASHED POTATOES
8 medium good potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces 6 whole cloves garlic
1 cup light sour cream or milk
6 tablespoons dried chives
3 tablespoons butter
Salt and fresh ground black pepper
Place potatoes, garlic cloves and 2tbs chives in a large saucepan and pour over enough water to cover!. Set pan over high heat and bring to a boil!. Boil until potatoes are fork-tender about 10 minutes!. Drain and return potatoes and garlic cloves to pan!. Mash in sour cream or milk and butter until desired consistency!. Fold in chives!. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper!.

Ingredients:
3 1/2 pounds russet potatoes
16 fluid ounces (2 cups) half-and-half
6 cloves garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons kosher salt
6 ounces grated Parmesan

Peel and dice potatoes, making sure all are relatively the same size!. Place in a large saucepan and cover with water!. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to maintain a rolling boil!. Cook until potatoes fall apart when poked with a fork!.

Heat the half-and-half and the garlic in a medium saucepan over medium heat until simmering!. Remove from heat and set aside!.

Remove the potatoes from the heat and drain off the water!. Mash and add the garlic-cream mixture, salt, and Parmesan; stir to combine!. Let stand for 5 minutes so that mixture thickens and then serve!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I just cook the garlic cloves with the potatoes!. When they are cooked they lose their pungency and taste very mild!. If you mash your cooked potatoes and then add raw garlic you will have a stronger taste!. Have you ever put a bunch of sliced garlic cloves in with green beans or peas and cooked them!. Very yummy You can use lots because of the fact they become so sweet and mild after cooking!. Same with roasted garlic!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

To make my garlic potatoes!.!.!.!.!.I boil as you would for regular mashed potatoes!. Then after I drain them, I add milk, sour cream, butter, garlic powder, salt, pepper, shredded cheese!. I mash with a masher or sometimes with an electric mixer!. I don't measure, I just do what feels good!. Enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Get some potatos, clean them and boil them until they're soft!. (Until you can stick a fork into them easily), drain them, cut into cubes, put in a large bowl, and milk, butter and minced garlic!. (However much you like) and then mash!. :) Simple! And Delicious!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I sautee the garlic in a bit of butter first, then add the butter and garlic once it's nicely cooked (just a minute or two is enough!.) The garlic is quite good this way and not too strong!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

easiest way is (if you like instant) buy some instant potatoes and get some crushed or pureed garlic (in a tube) or even fresh garlic and add to the instant ones,Www@FoodAQ@Com

take a clove of garlic and fry in oil until brown!.!.!.!.remove and mash!.!.then add to your potatoes as you mask them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
