Question: Making dinner!?!?
Me and my sis, are makin dinner today, does anyone have any good reicipes for dinner and desert or either one!?!? (We don't eat pork, or anything that has some sort of pig in it!.)thanks!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Easy Chicken and Egg Noodles:
Prep time about 10 min
Cooking time 40 min

Chicken pieces
? c Italian bottled dressing
Egg whipped
1T!. Paprika
1 C!. bread crumbs (plain or Italian)
Oil for frying
3 T!. flour
1 C!. chicken broth + extra broth for thinning gravy

Place chicken pieces in zip bag and add ? C!. Italian bottled dressing!. Refrigerate 6 hours!.

In shallow dish mix: 1 C!. plain or Italian breadcrumbs
1 T!. paprika

Heat oil (any you have) in deep skillet about ? inch deep
Dip chicken in egg then
Dredge chicken in crumb mixture
Fry till golden brown on both sides and remove from skillet

Remove all but about 5 T!. oil from skillet and add 3 T!. flour stir till all lumps are gone and roux is golden brown
Add 1 C!. chicken broth bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer add chicken pieces and continue to add a little broth as it thickens and cooks until you get a good gravy thickness!.
Simmer on low heat 30 min!. Again add more broth if gravy is too thick!.

Serve over cooked egg noodles



DESERT
Chocolate Trifle (you can use crushed chocolate cookies in place of the brownies)
1 (19!.3-ounce) package brownie mix
1 (3!.9-ounce) package chocolate instant pudding mix
1 (7-ounce) container frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed
1 (6-ounce) bag milk chocolate morsels
Prepare brownie mix according to package directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan!. Cool!. Crumble or cut into small pieces!.
Prepare chocolate pudding according to package directions, omitting the chilling procedure!.
Place half of crumbled brownies in the bottom of a 3 quart trifle bowl!. Top with half each of the pudding, whipped topping and chocolate morsels!. Repeat!. Cover!. Chill at least 8 hours!. Garnish with more chocolate morsels on top!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is the perfect question for me!! I was JUST planning a dinner for my family!. Here's what I had written down!. It's basically potatoes, string beans (like the ones in chinese restaurants), chicken, and a molten chocolate cake!.!.
The recipes are fairly easy!.

Cut potatoes and boil, drain
Montreal steak seasoning and butter (enough so no burn, enough to brown) crispy sort of
Fry them

Long fresh green/string beans
Snap ends off
Cut however long
Minced/cloved (chopped up finely) Garlic and fry
Butter/olive oil (not a lot)

Pink, raw, fresh, non-organic chicken tenders 2 packs!.!.not stir fry “chicken tenders”
Put in glass pan
Big publix brand bottle of Italian dressing
1 can Chicken broth
Use whole bottle dressing, ? or ? can chicken broth
Sprinkle a little bit of season salt
Cover with tin foil
350 degrees maybe 1 hour

have fun!. I would start the dessert 2 hours before you plan on eating, and start everything else 1 1/2 hours!. It seems like a long time, but there's some points where something's just baking or boiling!. Have fun and enjoy!!

Pasta Salad

(good, easy, and a one dish meal)

Ingredients:
tri colored rotini noodles
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
broccli
cauliflower
salt
pepper
mayo
cooking oil
tuna (optional) or chicken

Boil some cooking oil with the pasta to keep it from sticking together!. In a sperate pan boil the small chopped broccli and cauliflower!. While those things are boiling finely chop the bell peppers (both) and put in a large mixing bowl!. Once the noodles are ready (soft but not mushy) drain the water, rinse in cool water to help cool them off faster!. also do the same with the done broccli/cauliflower!.!.Add everything into the bell pepper bowl!. Add about 1-2 Tbsp of mayo and the tuna (optional)!. Season with the salt and pepper until its the way you like!. Using salt and real mayo (not miracle whip or lite mayo) blends the flavors better!. Its really good and healthy!.

I've only used the tuna once in this dish and didnt like it, but to add it makes like a meal in one dish!.!.lolWww@FoodAQ@Com

Miami Chicken
1/2 c!. ketchup
1/4 c!. vinegar
3 tbsp!. oil
2 tbsp!. brown sugar
2 tbsp!. Dijon mustard
2 tbsp!. Lemon juice
1 tbsp!. basil
Dash of salt and pepper
2 minced garlic cloves!.!.!.or about 2 tbsp!. of garlic power/salt

Mix everything together and pour over chicken!. Let the chicken sit in the marinade for about an hour and a half at room temp!.

After it has sat, put in the oven at 350 or put on grill
Use the marinade to baste the chicken while your cooking it!.
Turn the chicken every 10 to 12 minutes and continue basting!.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons minced garlic
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dried parsley
6 boneless chicken thighs, with skin
dried parsley, to taste

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven broiler!. Lightly grease a baking pan!.
In a microwave safe bowl, mix the butter, garlic, soy sauce, pepper, and parsley!. Cook 2 minutes on High in the microwave, or until butter is melted!.
Arrange chicken on the baking pan, and coat with the butter mixture, reserving some of the mixture for basting!.
Broil chicken 20 minutes in the preheated oven, until juices run clear, turning occasionally and basting with remaining butter mixture!. Sprinkle with parsley to serve!.

French Bread Rolls

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1 tablespoon active dry yeast
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups bread flour

DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, stir together warm water, yeast, and sugar!. Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes!.
To the yeast mixture, add the oil, salt, and 2 cups flour!. Stir in the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, until the dough has pulled away from the sides of the bowl!. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes!. Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough in the bowl, and turn to coat!. Cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in volume, about 1 hour!.
Deflate the dough, and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface!. Divide the dough into 16 equal pieces, and form into round balls!. Place on lightly greased baking sheets at least 2 inches apart!. Cover the rolls with a damp cloth, and let rise until doubled in volume, about 40 minutes!. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C)!.

Here are some ideas for you and your sister:

Easy Teriyaki Chicken

6-8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
2 cups Teriyaki sauce with pineapple juice
1 large green bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1 large onion, skin removed and sliced
1 large can chunk pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
1 package white rice

Cut thighs into bite sized pieces and season with salt and pepper!. Marinate in 1 cup of the Teriyaki sauce for several hours!. Saute onion in oil!. Add chicken and cook until browned!. Add remaining teriyaki sauce and pineapple!. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes!. Make rice according to package directions, using reserved pineapple juice as part of the liquid!. Spoon chicken mixture over rice to serve!.

Easy Meatballs and Mashed Potatos:

2 lbs lean ground beef
2 packages Liptons Herb and Garlic or Onion Soup mix
3 T Worcestershire sauce
2 eggs
3/4 cup Italian bread crumbs
1 jar roast beef gravey
1/2 cup sour cream
6 Yukon Gold potatos
1 T salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup sour cream
3 T butter

Mix meat with soup mix, worcestershire sauce, eggs, breadcrumbs!. Form into balls and place in baking dish!. Mix gravey with sour cream and spoon over the top!. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour!. Cut potatos into chunks and boil in salted water until fork tender!. Drain!. Add butter and sour cream!. Season with salt and pepper!. To serve, spoon meatballs and gravey over mashed potatos!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Ingredients

400 grams beef (a little less then 1lb!.)
3 tbsp green curry paste (see green curry paste recipe or use prepared curry paste)
2 1/2 cups coconut milk (1 1/2 cans Chaokoh brand coconut milk or squeezed out from 400 grams grated fresh coconut)
5 small fresh Thai eggplants, quartered
2-3 fresh red spur chilies, sliced diagonally
2 kaffir lime leaves, torn
1/4 cup sweet basil leaf (optional)
1 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
1 1/2 tsp palm sugar
1 tbsp cooking oil (not olive oil, but corn, safflower or peanut oil)
Sweet basil leaves and red chili slices for garnish
Preparation

Slice the beef into thin pieces, about about 1/3" (3 cm) thick!.
Saute the green curry paste in oil over medium heat until fragrant, reduce the heat, gradually add 1 1/2 cups of the coconut milk a little at a time, stir until a film of green oil surfaces!.
Add the beef and kaffir lime leaves, continue cooking for 3 minutes until fragrant and the beef is cooked through!. Transfer to a pot, place over medium heat and cook until boiling!. Add the remaining coconut milk, season with palm sugar and fish sauce!. When the mixture returns to the boil add the eggplants!. Cook until the eggplants are done, sprinkle sweet basil leaves and red chilies over, then turn off the heat!.
Arrange on a serving dish and garnish with sweet basil leaves and red chilies before serving

melt some sugar and butter in a pot, grate in some orange zest and groung ginger!. let that cook up, slice in some bannan wedges before u wanna serve!.

Costco has a great vegetarian lasagna!.

You could also make whole wheat or rice pasta with marinara sauce and grilled veggies!.

Mmm!. For desert, you can visit Whole Foods, buy their brand (365) of organic brownie mix!. All you need is the mix, two eggs and butter!.

Make that for desert, and you have a satisfying - and healthy meal - all for under $10 and less than 30 minutes prep time!
