Does anyone know how to make apple cake?!
Another one of my granny's recipes that she took with her to the grave!. It was brown in color (it kinda looked like pumpernicle bread !.!.!.!.I think I totally mispelled that!.!.!.but it was a more rich warm brown !.!.!.)!. Whenever she would cook it, she would break out this really small piece of paper that to me was illegible but she always made the most awesome apple cake!. Has anyone ever made or had this before!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

My mother used to make what she called an applesauce cake!. And I don't have her recipe either!. It was sort of like a fruitcake in texture only 100 times better but about that color!. She used canned applesauce and raisins!. And she would put it in the attic in a container to age just a couple days always at Christmas time!. Memories!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
