The Japanese eat it!. They have Span cooking contests that are world famous!.

I loved it when I was a kid, sauteed in a little butter, wrapped in a piece of Wonder bread!.

I've cubed it, browned it lightly, put it in a pasta salad with green onions, hard cooked eggs, red bell pepper, chick peas, diced cheddar cheese, seasoning, Ranch dressing instead of Mayo or salad dressing!. Goes well in a buffet!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Every grocery store in Canada has it so somebody must be eating it!. If you read the ingredients, you likely won't unless you prefer your arteries clogged up and your blood pressure raised by the salt!. They even deep fry it in Scotland!. I think it sucks, personally!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I use it as a substitute for ham for "ham" salad for sandwiches, just like chicken, egg, or tuna salad!. I mince it very fine, add in pickle relish, miracle whip, mustard, minced maraschino cherry, a bit of the cherry juice!. Mix it all and chill for an hour before using!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fry it in a skillet
or
Mix it in a food processor, with mayonaisse, mustard, and relish for cheap easy sandwiches
or
slice it in pieces and mix it with macaroni and cheese!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yikes, I have tried it and I just can't get a taste for it!. Lots of people LOVE it though---Spam Burgers are most popular!. I also know people who make Spam meatloaf!. Forgive me, but the very idea of it gives me the willies!Www@FoodAQ@Com

well my dad went and bought 'home brand' ( which is the cheapest you can buy) and ate it, yuk, i dont think i could eat a well know brand let alone home brand!. so i guess some people eat it * yuk*Www@FoodAQ@Com

I read that everyone should put Spam into their meal planning to stretch their budget!. However it is an acquired taste in my opinion!. Spam sandwiches are OK, spam and eggs (like ham and eggs) would be edible!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, the boys in our Boy Scout troop love that stuff!. It's usually on the menu for our camping trips!. They mix it with mac and cheese and call it spamaroni!. I say, yuck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I also saw that Spam sales are increasing due to people trying to stretch their food budget!.
