mangoes are in!.!. very exotic!.!.!. and i love melons!.!.!. i did this for a class!.!. and everyone loved it!.!.

this will make for about 4 people!.

Cut a medium-sized melon in half!. You will only need one portion so set aside the other half!. Cut the half melon into slices and scoop the flesh with a spoon or teaspoon, then cut into cubes!.

Slice a mango, discard the stone at the center, score with a sharp pointed knife to create squares then scoop out the flesh with a spoon or teaspoon!.

Place the cut melon and mango in the blender, add sugar (as much as you like!.!. honey works too), pour in about half a cup of cold water and top with lots of ice!. Pulse the blender a couple of times to start the processing!. Then, set on low and process of about 15 seconds!.

Turn up the speed to high until the ice is crushed!. The fruit shake is ready to serve at this point but I like to add milk to mine, so…
Remove the cover, pour in about half a cup of milk and process on low speed for about five seconds!.

Pour into drinking glasses and enjoy!.!.!.:)

Healthy Fruit Shake Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup ice, crushed
1 cup rice milk
1 cup peaches, diced into chunks
1 cup coconut
1 cup banana, mashed
1 cup pink lady apples, diced into chunks
1 cup fresh blueberries
1 cup strawberry frozen yogurt
1 tsp!. vanilla
1 tbsp!. maple syrup
To Make:

With the fresh fruit, chop up the peaches, pink lady apples, and strawberries into bite-sized pieces!. The blueberries can be used just as they are for this smoothie!. The banana, which one cup is equivalent to one whole banana, needs to be mashed!.

Coconut flakes may be used if you do not want to buy a whole coconut!. There is an added bonus if you use a whole coconut!. You can add the coconut juice to the smoothie!. It adds a completely new fruity flavor!.

More of a coconut taste comes out in the smoothie if you use the juice!. Take all of the pieces of fruit and add them to a blender!. Add the rice milk, vanilla, maple syrup, and crushed ice!. Blend on high until all fruit pieces are well blended!.

Pour smoothie into tall milkshake glasses, serve, and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Tropical Green Tea Smoothie

2 oranges, peeled and separated into quarters
2 bananas, peeled
2 cups seedless grapes
1 cup prepared green tea
1 tsp!. honey
12 ice cubes

1!. Combine oranges, bananas, and grapes in a blender or food processor!.
2!. Blend on high until smooth!.
3!. Add green tea, honey and ice!.
4!. Blend on medium/high until ice is crushed!.

1 cup skim milk
1 cup of ice cubes
5 - 7 frozen strawberries
1/2 banana
1 packet of non sugar sweetner (like splenda or sweet n low)
handful of fresh blueberries

put all but the last ingredient in a blender and blend until smooth!. pour into 2 glasses that will hold 8 oz!. each!. stir in 1/2 the blueberries to each!. serve with a parfait spoon and straw!. delicious!. you can top with cool whip or whipped cream and a sprinkle of nuts or chocolate sprinkles for cakes to make it look fancy!. good luck with your contest!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
