Celery is used mosly as a seasoning in soups and stews or raw !. But I like cooked celery braised in a little white wine!.
I use the inner stalks and saute in butter for about 1 minute then add white wine and cover for about 5 minutes!. Sometimes I will add a little cream to the cooking liquid after the celery is removed to make a sauce !.
I was also served a raw celery salad!. Chopped celery and crumbled Bleu Cheese and olives dressed with olive oil and Balsmic vinager and topped with chopped Walnuts!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
