Chicken Adobo

--------------------------------------!.!.!.

1 whole chicken (cut into eighths)
1 whole garlic (chopped)
olive oil or vegetable/corn oil
1 tsp ground black pepper
4 whole black pepper cloves
3 dried bay leaves
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup vinegar
**7up/sprite
**1 whole lemon (cut into 4)

--------------------------------------!.!.!.

Remember to wash your chicken very well!. We recommend using the lemon (in ingredients) to scrub all over the chicken parts and rub some salt into it as well!.

Heat oil and add all of the garlic, and cook until garlic is lightly browned!. Add chicken and saute until the chicken is beginning to tenderize!.

Add ground black pepper, whole black pepper cloves, soy sauce, and vinegar, and let simmer for 25-35 mins or until chicken is done!.

Make sure to add more vinegar or soy sauce until it suits your taste (should be a bit tangy)!. When chicken is tender, add some 7 up if you want a sweeter taste, and let simmer for 5 more mins!.

Serve over rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cut chicken into 8 pieces!. Dreg pieces in flour and brown in oil!. Take chicken out of the pan and saute onions, then add garlic to saute!. Add chicken and turn it so it coats with the onions and garlic!. Put in the oven for 1 1/4 hours at 350 degrees!. You can cut up carrots and potatoes and put those in the pan in the oven with the chicken!. Another thing is to take a whole chicken, take out the giblets, put chopped onions in the interior and roast at 350 for 1 1/2 hour with the potatoes and carrots in the roasting pan around the chicken!. The vegetables cook in the grease from the chicken!. Another easy thing to do is to mix mustard with french dressing and put it over chicken pieces and bake at 350Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you don't have a lot of stuff, just make some pasta and grill up your chicken like normal!.
I guess you like garlic, so maybe make the chicken with a little garlic powder, then when its cooked through add some butter and like a spoonful of flour, a little bit of milk and melt some parmesan cheese (like the sprinkle chese you put on spaghetti) in it with a little bit of basil, maybe a little lemon juice!. Don't try lemon if you do use garlic though!. One or the other is fine, both is not!.

It's quick, home made alfredo chicken!. If you have cream instead of milk, it's a lot better, but its good either way!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You could marinate the chicken in oil & vinegar with garlic!.
Put everything in a zip-loc baggie in the frig for 2 hours!.
Then remove to a fry-pan & brown on all sides quickly!.
Finish by baking in the oven at 425-450F for 50-60 minutes!.
You can serve with boiled rice, pasta & sauce, or potatoes!.
Try a can of cream soup as the sauce, instead of tomato!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

chop up chicken into good size pieces, coat in beaten egg with garlic added - perhaps paprika too if you have it, then coat in cornflour and fry til golden brown turning occasionally, forget the vinear unless you making a full batter!. It is delicious and my lot love it!. We call it crunchy fried chicken here!.

can serve with veg or rice or salad - if serving ith rice you could then use your vinegar to make a sweet and sour sauce (tomato paste, sugar, few drops vinegar and water boil and thicken with cornflour)Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is a family favorite in my house!. Take chicken parts of your choice (I prefer de-boned breasts) and put them in a baking dish!. Cover with an entire bottle of salad dressing!. Russian or Italian work the best!. Put foil over the baking dish for the first half of baking time!. Bake on 350 for 30-60 minutes depending on what parts of the chicken you bake!. Breasts take about 45 minutes!. Serve over cooked white rice!. Quick and easy, but best of all - delicious!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy a whole chicken(maybe $5)!. Put salt, pepper, or whatever you want on it!. Put it in the oven on 350!. When it's done!. You've got a tasty baked chicken!. Mashed potato's and a vegetable would be a great addition to make a complete meal!.

They just had whole chickens on sale where I live for $!.59 a pound!. A 4 pounder was $2!.36!. Great deal!Www@FoodAQ@Com
