I want to bbq some corn, do i boil it first!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
heck no !!!!
Cooking corn in the husk is the best way both flavor wise and health wise to cook corn but to take the silk out before cooking is a total waste of time!. Soaking the corn helps tremendously !. This will greatly inhance the flavor of the corn!. I like to grill the corn until the outer husk is black on all sides then I know it's done!. I've cooked it this way at a number of outings and everyone loves it!.
The husks protect the corn from getting dried out and the corn essentially steams in its own moisture (no need to soak the corn in water as called for by some)!. The smokey corn husks impart a wonderful flavor to the corn as well!.
1 Prepare your grill, gas or charcoal, with direct, high heat, about 550°F!.

2 Remove just the visible silks from the tips of the corn!. Place the corn in their husks on the hot grill!. Cover!. Turn the corn occasionally, until the husks are charred on all sides, about 15 to 20 minutes!.

3 Remove corn from grill!. Let sit for 5 minutes!. Use a hand towel to protect your hands while removing the silks and charred husks from the corn!.

Serve hot, with butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

no, peel back husk, remove silks, then soak atleast 1 hour in water, grill till done
*don't remove the husks, pull them back up when silks have been removes, they will help protect the cobs from burning and help cook the corn!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Soak in husk for at least 15 minutes!. Get grill hot!. Pull back husks and splatter with butter!. Pull husks back up and put on grill!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
