If you buy a butt pork roast and simmer it in the crockpot
The first time eat it that way
The next time take some and add bbq for sandwich
The last time make this recipe
Mexican Roll Ups
This is something I made up its a great way to use left over meat!.
Use one of your choice
Shredded Chicken, shredded beef or shredded pork
Put in skillet with 1 pkg of taco seasoning
Add enough water so that you may simmer it, not to much
After simmering like 20 min
Place small amount in to soft burrito shell, I like to use the large ones!.
Roll them up and secure with toothpicks
In deep fryer or skillet, brown til golden brown
They will be crunchy
Serve with sour cream, salsa or gucamole
Dont forget to remove toothpicks !!!!
If you make a chicken you can use it that recipe then it add to this one
Olive Garden Alfredo Fettuccine
1 pint heavy cream
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
2 tablespoons cream cheese
1/2 - 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder, add in more to suit your taste if you prefer
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 ounces fettuccine, cooked and drained
In a saucepan combine butter, heavy cream, and cream cheese!. Simmer this until all is melted, and mixed well!. Add the Parmesan cheese and garlic powder!. Simmer this for 15 - 20 minutes over low heat!.
Toss pasta lightly with sauce, coating well!. Leftovers freeze well!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Some of the meals I cook:
Jambalaya - Sounds hard but when you get the box with the rice and the spices in a pouch it is a snap!. All you have to buy is the Zatarains(sp!?) jambalaya mix and then buy about 1 1/2 pounds of sausage (which is not expensive at all) and follow the directions on the box!. It makes enough to feed three kids, my wife and myself!. Super easy and start to finish is only 30 minutes!.
Breakfast Supper - Buy some Wal-Mart brand bacon, some bread and some eggs and cheddar cheese!. You will also need butter!. Fry the bacon on a skillet or in a pan!. Toast some bread!. And make cheese omelletes!. Crack three eggs and mix them with some black pepper and salt and then throw them in a 8 inch sauce pan (greased with a little butter) over medium heat!. Whenever the bottom is cooked (lift the edge with a spatula) simply put the shredded cheese on top of the egg on one side and fold the omellete in half on top of the cheese!. Don't worry about flipping it until it is folded in half! You can add all kinds of stuff in with the cheese too!. Chopped ham, green peppers, even salsa straight from the jar!.
Chili - A little harder prep but is fantastic and there is a lot of it, and it really isn't hard, just a little more time consuming!. It is even better the second day!.
What you need;
2 pounds ground beef
1 can dark red kidney beans
1 can light red kidney beans
1 slighly bigger can Bush's Chili Beans in Mild Sauce
1 can whole tomatos
1 can tomato sauce
1 small can tomato paste
1/2 - 3/4 cups chili powder
teaspoon of pepper (I use red and black)
a little garlic powder
a little salt
Brown the ground beef and drain and add to a nice sized pot!.
Drain the kidney beans and add
Do not drain the chili beans, add with sauce
cut up the whole tomatos and add
1 can of water (use one of the kidney bean cans)
Add everything else and mix well
Bring to a boil and then cut the heat down and simmer for an hour!.
*This makes delicious NOT terribly hot chili (I have small kids) Adjust the spices to how you want it for spiciness!.
Get some saltines and spoon the chili onto them and eat!.
Awesome!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I too was tired of the "same ole same ole" that's why I came here today for ideas!. I ended up cooking Swiss Steak with Buttered Noodles and Green Beans!. It was great!.
1 lg!. round steak
2 onions
2 green peppers
1 - 8 oz!. can tomato sauce
1 c!. water
1 dash Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
Chop onion and green pepper and saute in greased pan!. Then spoon out in a bowl and set aside!. Cut round steak into 4 pieces!.
Pound flour into both sides and pound really well, it makes it tender too, you'll be able to cut it with a fork! Brown meat on both sides!.
Put chopped onion and green pepper mixture on top on each piece of meat and cover well, if you have to chop a little more do it, it will add to flavor!.
Then take tomato sauce and add the water, stir and pour over meat!. Simmer on low heat for a couple hours or until meat is tender enough to cut with fork!.
If done in an electric frying pan, cook on about 250-300 degrees!. Check frequently, mixture will start to thicken, try to keep it from sticking too much; add more water when necessary!.
Make this a gravy consistency, not too wateryWww@FoodAQ@Com
