I need to convert chicken measurements?!
Hi,
have a recipe that calls for 4 lbs chicken thighs, bone-in, but the bones to be removed later!.
i want to use chicken breasts!.!.!. how many lbs of chicken breasts will equal the meat of 4 lbs of chicken thighs after the bone has been removed!?

You can 'approximate' this measurement !.!.!. anywhere between 3!.5-3!.75 pounds of boneless breast will be the equivalent of 4 pounds of thighs before the bones are removed!. There is also one thing that you need to know, though !.!.!. breast meat is DRYER than thigh meat, and you may need to add 1/4 cup of liquid to the recipe to make up for the lack of moisture in your chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
