What is a good magazine for a cooking enthusiast at intermediate level?!

Question: What is a good magazine for a cooking enthusiast at intermediate level!?
Hi!. In the last year I've really gotten into cooking and taken a handful of classes!. I'd like to subscribe to a magazine that has good recipes and tips with nice pictures!.
I'm cooking for 2 adults and a mature teenager and don't need those "casserole to feed a big bunch cheap" type recipes!.
I also take my time cooking and shopping for ingredients and like all different cuisines!. I'm not into baking sweets that much!.
There are so many magazines out there, so please tell me which is your favorite!.
thanks :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bon Appetit was my first cooking magazine when I was a beginner, and it seemed to be beginner level!. That was in 1994 and I'm still a subscriber and it's evolved into more intermediate level!. Gourmet is a tad more sophisticated and I'd rank it one notch above Bon Appetit for rarer ingredients and difficulty, though fewer recipes!. Don't even bother with Food & Wine, it's mostly articles and few recipes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I love this question!!! Cooks Illustrated is a bi-monthly mag 32 pages and no adds I have every copy since the started up in 1993!. It is for every level of cook!. The TV show on PBS stations is called "Test Kitchen" usually on Sat!. but PBS is having fund raiser every 2 seconds,Costco sells some of their regular cook books which I have every one!. they rate a food item in each issue such as Ice cream they also rate cook wear and appliances in each issue I buy everything they recommend!. every thing I have cooked has come out perfect
I have all the companion books that go with the TV show and the DVDsWww@FoodAQ@Com

I get the Kraft Food and Family magazines!. They do use a lot of pre-packaged foods but I make my own items such as stuffing, gravy, mashed potatoes, cream of mushroom souo etc!.!.!. It's a great magazine for ideas and it is free!. I am also big on the different cook books that you see at the check-out aisle at the grocery store!. They are brinted by taste of home, campbells, pillsbury etc!.!.!. There is a great new "summer appatizers" one, but I'm not sure who makes it!. There is a lot of great stuff!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I really like "Light and Tastey"!. They are very healthy, loads of pics, and the back index seperates out things like low-carb recipes, low-fat recipes, meatless dishes, etc!. They have anything from soufle's to omelets!. Very good!. I use them all the time!.

also, they don't have all those annoying adds and non-recipe fillers in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Without a doubt Cooks Illustrated!!

It is by far my favorite!! It not only has tested recipes, but also goes through how they tested it and came to the perfect recipe!. They also test products and have great tips!. I have never been disappointed with a single recipe!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i actually love Everyday with Rachael Ray!. i'm a food network fan!. great, fun, colorful pages with good food ideas!.

Taste of Home!. i use a lot of these recipes!. they all come from home cooks!. it's good to know real home-y recipes that you can easily do at home!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Gourmet and Bon Appetit are both great!. Bon Appetit is a little bit easier, but Gourmet is a fun way to stretch your horizons a bit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Martha stewart living & sunset !. both have interesting recipes using unusual and seasonal ingredients!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Bon Apetit is my favorite!. But Food and Wine is good too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
