Does thickening to quickly ruin icecream?!

I'm making this recipe!.
When I was thickening the first three ingredients, at first it took a really long time, but then I turned the heat up high and stirred and stirred and it started thickening!. Well suddenly its was so thick, and i kept heating it for a minute and it got very thick and now its chunky!. Is that because I heated it very hot very quickly!? Will the icecream still turn out well!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah, you curdled it, it happens when you make something (that most times include dairy) hot quickly, it wont work nowWww@FoodAQ@Com
