It takes quite a bit of effort to screw up salmon, it is fairly forgiving to cook as long as you don't completely ignore it!. You don't say whether this is a fillet, steak, or whole salmon, but there are lots of ways to grill salmon in foil!. It usually doesn't take more for 5-7 minutes per inch of thickness over medium heat for it to cook!. I tend to cook fillets!. Teriyaki and pineapple works well!. You can also cook it with salt, pepper, and butter on the salmon, wrap it in foil and cook it!. You can also leave the butter out and cook it with lemon slices or use lemo pepper!. I also like to use taragon!. My father-in-law made a nice grilled salmon using olive oil, salt, and pepper!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
A nice way to keep it simple is by placing the salmon inside the foil with a few slices of lemon, some thinly sliced red (spanish) onion and a few sprigs fo fresh dill!. By placing the salmon in foil your bascially steaming it so these simple flavours will add flavour without overpowering the salmon too much :)
Another light and simple marinade you could put on the salmon before cooking is:
- 4 tablespoons Light Soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons fresh Ginger (finely diced)
- 1 Clove crushed Garlic
ENJOY :)Www@FoodAQ@Com

This won't help you tonight, but I have the easiest Halibut recipe in the world for you:
Take the largest cooking vessel you have - like the pot you use to cooking spaghetti in and fill it 2/3 full with water!. Salt the water and bring it to a boil!.
Drop in your halibut steaks!.
When the steaks float to the top, they are done!. Add a little lemon if you like and voila!
This is the easiest recipe in the world and is completely idiot-proof!. :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com

make sure the filet gets to a proper temperature with a meat thermometer! Inside the foil I'd put a little lemon and spices maybe marinade, but I prefer the natural oils from the fish that the foil will trap in!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
If you are wrapping it in foil, why not just use the oven!? The grill is for flavor also!.
Wrapping it in foil is basically steaming it!.
Good luckWww@FoodAQ@Com
