Yes!. Its so easy I dont know why the mix sells!.

2 cups all-purpose flour, stirred or sifted before measuring
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups milk

Mix dry and wet separate first, then combine!. After that you know the drill!.

You can even sub in other flowers for 1/2 of the all purpose to make corn bread, buck wheat, or whole grain pancakes!.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes ---


INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 1/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, melted



DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar!. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth!.

Vanilla Buttermilk Pancakes with Warm Vanilla Maple Syrup
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/2 cups unbleached flour
2 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon melted butter
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract

Beat eggs well, then add buttermilk and baking soda!. Start adding flour slowly, while mixing until smooth!. Add all other ingredients and mix well!.

Heat a nonstick griddle or spray a griddle with nonstick cooking spray!. Heat to medium and use a 1/4 cup measuring cup to pour out pancake batter on a hot griddle!.

Warm Vanilla Maple Syrup
1 (16 ounce) container pure maple syrup
3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract

Mix the two ingredients together well and heat to boiling!. Remove from heat and ladle over warm pancakes




WISS PANCAKES (THIN)

4 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
at least 1 egg per cup of flour
12 oz evaporated milk

Mix flour, salt, shortening (cut into flour), and some water, enough to give good consistency for mixing in eggs!. Mix in eggs thoroughly!. Then add enough water to make the batter real thin!.
This batter can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 4 or 5 days!. (If kept, you will probably need to add water to proper consistency)

1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup flour

dash salt
dash cinnamon

1 1/4 c Milk

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, sugar, and salt!. Combine yogurt,
milk, and eggs!. Stir in butter!. Pour liquids into flour mixture, mixing
just until dampened!. Pour 1/4 cup batter on hot greased griddle for each

1cup buckwheat flour
1cup all pupose flour
2tsp baking powder
1tsp baking soda
2eggs separated
2cups milk
1tablespoon molasses
1/4cup melted butter

beat the egg whites in one small bowl until fluffy and form soft peaks

mix dry ingredients together in large bowl

beat egg yolks lightly in second small bowl, add milk molasses and butter to them

add wet ingredients to dry ingredients

stir half of the egg whites to the pancake batter the gently fold the rest in until it is barely blended

If you do not have buttermilk, just add a couple tablespoons of lemon juice or white vinegar to regular milk!. If you don't have those!.!.!.just use regular milk!. They come out better with the buttermilk however!.
