Spare Ribs Question?!
What's your best way of cooking spare ribs!? Boil first and then cook on grill or Oven all the way!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

4 lbs!. pork spare ribs
Cumin powder
Cumin seed
Mustard seed
Chili powder
Celery salt
Garlic salt
Brown sugar
Liquid smoke
SAUCE:
2 tbsp!. brown sugar
2 tbsp!. soy sauce
2 tbsp!. vinegar
1 c!. catsup
1 tbsp!. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp!. chili powder
Place ribs in shallow baking pan!. Brush ribs with liquid smoke!. Sprinkle lightly with each of the seeds and seasonings!. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees until almost done!. Uncover and pour some of the sauce over the ribs!. Bake until done!. Serve remaining sauce with ribs at the table!.

3 heaping tbsp!. brown sugar
1 c!. ketchup
1-2 tsp!. mustard
Place spare ribs in pan of water (covered)!. Boil and simmer until tender, about 2 hours!. Saute onions in butter!. Add remaining ingredients, simmer until thickened!.
Remove spare ribs from water!. Place on cookie sheet with sides!. Pour sauce over ribs!. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes!.

Oven on 300 degrees for about two hours!. I prefer a dry BBQ Spice rub on them to cook in the oven!. KC Masterpiece makes a good, shakable dry rub!. Put about a cup of water in the bottom of the pan so they don't dry out!.
Finish them on the grill, that will take about 15 minutes!. DO NOT slather with BBQ sauce until the last 10 mins or so as it tends to burn!. When the meat is falling off the bone - they're done!Www@FoodAQ@Com

If grilling yes par-boil for 8-10 min make sure water is at a full boil before placing in!. If you have the time place in a crock pot with your favorite BBQ sauce, teriyaki, whatever and cook on low all day these are the best slow cooked just fall off the bone!. Bon Appetito!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
