Cold milk with 1 tbsp of flour or starch!. Bring to a boil, slowly until thickems!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can just use plain (unsweetened) whipping cream (it usually comes in a purple container, any brand will do)or you can reduce half and half in a pot over medium heat(be carefull to keep stirring & don't turn your back on it)!. However if all you have is milk in your house, make a roux (one part butter to one part flour & constantly stir over medium heat untill it just start going a light blond color)!. Take the roux off the heat and slowly mix in the milk, wisking vigorously so there are no lumps!. Put it back on medium heat and add your pesto powder and let simmer for a few minutes!. If it starts getting too thick you may add more milk!. I personally would add 1/4 Cup of butter, 1/4 cup of milk to 4 cups of whole or 2% milk!. It sounds more difficult then it actually is just don't stop stirring!

All purpose cream!? Heavey cream is fine, but pesto is an emulsion not a cream sauce!.
To make a cream sauce 1-2 TBS oil (or butter) to pan with equal parts flower!. stir it in till smooth, add milk and stir!. Wait till it simmers and it will thicken up!. Then add whatever you want to flavor it!.
This works for everything, but use olive oil for Italian and Spanish food, and butter for french style!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There should be a "creamy" option on the package!. Every gravy mix I buy from them has instructions for a creamy version -- usually it's use milk instead of water, but I like to make it 1/2 water and 1/2 milk!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Try to find Heavy Cream, or Whipping Cream at almost dairy or convenience store!. Prepare the sauce and heat over low temperature!. Simply add the cream and let it "reduce", or cook- down Stir occasionall!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
