How do you cook crawfish??!
I never ate crawfish so i asked my mom to cook some one day but she said she doesn't know how to cook them so i'm asking you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Crab boil, 2 teaspoons per quart of water
12 red new potatoes
6 (4-inch) smoked sausage link sausage
6 ears corn
3 pounds fresh shrimp, unpeeled
Fill a large pot with enough water to cover all of the ingredients!. Add the crab boil and bring to a boil!. Adjust the crab boil to suit your taste!. When the water boils, add the potatoes and sausage!. Cook on medium heat for 20 minutes!. Add corn and cook for an additional 10 minutes!. Add shrimp and cook for no more than 3 minutes!. I just steam mine - add a few inches of water to a huge stockpot, throw in some Old Bay Seasoning and some sliced onion and garlic!. Toss in a few peppercorns & bring to a boil!. Add your crayfish and cover the pot!. Bring to a boil and let boil for just 3-5 minutes or so, shut off heat and let sit, covered for about 30!. Serve 'em with melted butter! If you don't have the seasonings, you can just do them in water - they're still REALLY good!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Zatarains makes a crawfish boil in a bag that you drop into the boiling water!. Add red potatoes and corn on the cob!.!.!.
Boil until the potatoes are done and then peel the crawfish tails, dip in melted butter and enjoy !!!

It's too early in the season to get live "on the hoof"!. The "mud bug" tails you can buy are pre-cooked!. Shell them and cook like shrimp!. Actually, they only need to be heated!. They taste closer to lobster than they do shrimp!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
