Question: What kitchen tools should I take on vacation!? I love to cook and we are staying in a condo on the beach!.!?
Answers:
I love to cook to so every time I leave my kitchen to cook anywhere else (even another persons house) I always take my favorite knives (they are really sharp and different sizes), my whisk, cutting board (1 for just veggies and 1 for meat), my favorite pots or pans just one or 2 and my table top grill (I love to make pancakes and french toast on that only!)!. If I know that i am going to be baking I will take my measuring cups, spatula, and measuring spoons!. Have fun!

And to the person that said "why would you cook if you are on vacation!?"
That is something you will not understand if you are not a person who truly loves to cook!. For a person that sees it as a gift and not a chore it can relive stress!. If you are having a bad day and you go into your kitchen and fix up a hot meal, when it is time to sit down and enjoy that meal!. The first bit!.!.!.!. it will then make your bad day turn right around and you will think to yourself SUCCESS! One thing that went right in the day! A FANTASTIC MEAL!Www@FoodAQ@Com

As many people have said, most basic tools should be provided with the condo (check to be sure)!.!.!.pots, pans, appliances, tupperware, silverware, plates, bowls, etc!. So, if you have something that you know you are going to make that requires an odd implement, I would be sure to bring that!. The other thing that I would strongly suggest, probably even more importantly than tools, is that you take any herbs and spices that you plan to use!.!.!.it can get awfully expensive to buy a whole bunch of spices that you would have sitting back at home anyway!Www@FoodAQ@Com

I think you need to plan ahead and decide what you are most likely to make while there!.!. I would bring-

- a good knife or 2 (assuming you aren't flying - haha!)
- a big bowl
- a big pot
- a cookie sheet
- foil
- baggies
- glad wear

most kitchen gadgets you can work around if needed!.!. but try to get things done without a decent size bowl or a good knife and forget about it!.!. and then what is the point of cooking if you can't keep the leftovers well!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Measuring cups and spoons, mixing bowls, wire whisk, a flour sifter or seive if you'll be baking, rubber scraper, spatula, assorted pots and pans, baking pans if you'll be baking, wooden spoons, slotted spoon, paring knife, chef's knife, cutting board, and tongs!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I always take a grinder full of black pepper where ever I go just in case they don't have any!. That's what I have missed most!. I teach abroad and always take a non stick frying pan and a wooden spoon!. Sounds silly I know, but kitchen stuff is very personal!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
