It is way too hot to cook-any cold dinner ideas!!!?!
Answers:
Since I live in So!. Calif - I am used to making lots of meals that don't require the stove or the oven!. Here are a few favorites:
Meal salad - lots of fresh greens, add on's like cooked shrimp or drained tuna (we don't eat beef, pork or chicken, but you could certainly use any of those cooked products), drained kidney beans, sugar snap peas halved, grape tomatos, diced avocado and some chunks of blue cheese - or your favorite cheese - toss well!. Put a variety of dressings on the table and a big loaf of sheepherders bread!.
Wraps - there are so many types of flavored wraps!. Try jalapeno/cheddar wraps around cold refried beans, salsa, lettuce and sour cream!. (You could add cold chicken if you wish)!. Or try tomato/basil wraps with roasted red peppers, parmesan cheese, fresh basil leaves and spinach, add a little creamy ceasar dressing and yum!.
Other than that, you can always make subs and chips!. Serve them with avocado's sliced in half and filled with crab or chicken salad!.
We also like to make a big fruit salad, with lots of fresh in season fruit - stir in some flavored yogurt and serve with a platter of cheese and crackers!.
also like "summer" nachos - but they do require just a bit of heating to melt the cheese!. Tortilla chips covered with shredded pepper jack and cheddar cheeses!. Melt slightly in oven!. Then top with fresh tomatos, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and shredded lettuce!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Let the stores do the cooking for you!. They have plenty of pre-made options!. My favorite is the rotisserie chicken!. Even if it's hot, you can cut it off the bones, and put it on bread with some mayo and lettuce or tomatoes, or put it in a salad!. Yum!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
