Boiled chicken question?!


Question: Boiled chicken question!?
I boiled chicken last night and forgot to put it in the refrigerator until this morning when i woke up!. My apartment is 70 degrees F!. Is it ok to reboil the chicken so that it is safe to eat!? if not i will be throwing away about 5 lbs of chicken!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would not eat it!. I am pretty sure you are supposed to refridgerate leftovers within 2 hours of cooking!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Refrigerate it down to 40 degrees F!. Kills part of the meanies!. Reheat to 140 F internal temp for 1 minute!. Kills the rest of them germs and salmonellas!. Should be fine then!.

How about feeding some hungry animals!?You will avoid salmonela and also feel good about yourself for doing something good!.
