1!. Replace judging/judgment with noticing/observation!. Instead of judging people, events, and things as good or bad, just notice whether you like it or not then let it go, accept it, or if you can, try to change it!.
2!. These mottoes: "This too will pass!." "No storm lasts forever!." In time, the intensity of your feelings will and must go down!.
3!. Keep a journal of good things that have happened to you!. Writing things down can give you a fresh perspective on your life because when you're depressed, you tend to focus on the negative!.
4!. Think about how supportive you might be to a close friend who is feeling blue!. Instead of beating yourself up, consider being your own best friend!. Treat yourself kindly as you would treat your friend!.

I loooove to cook, and love to bake!.!.!.
I think I need a 12-step program: Bakers Anonymous!.
When I am stressed, I start baking!.
However, the honest truth, when I am feeling depressed, and want to feel comforted, FAST, I drink a good cup of coffee with milk (or cream)!.
It's proven anyway, that drinking coffee can help remove depression!.
Unfortunately, you probably should drink decaf if you need to get sleep!.
What kind of recipe are you looking for!? Chocolate!? Meat!? Spicy!?
I really love to make lamb curry and basmati rice!. That's my comfort food!. Since I was a kid, old fashioned spaghetti with meat sauce always makes me feel babied, I don't know why!.
also, warm, homemade hummus for me is a nice comforting snack on pita bread or fresh onion!.
When i feel bad, the faster I can consume the comfort food, the better, so spending hours cooking something tends to help too late, unless cooking for you, like me, is therapy in itself!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
