You could always just go to the local deli and get a couple of pounds of sliced ham or turkey, and then buy rolls!. People could just make their own sandwiches (you can also get sliced roast beef instead of ham/turkey and keep it in a slow cooker for hot sandwiches!.) Then make a potato salad or something to go with it, and some other acoutriments/condiments (bags of chips, pickles, watermelon, etc!.) It's relatively cheap and easy and serves many!. Good luck, have fun!Www@FoodAQ@Com
Try a big pot of Sloppy Joes!. It goes a long ways!. Of course you would have to keep it hot in a slow cooker or warmer of some sort!.
Here is my recipe for approximately 20 people!.
2 lbs of ground beef
1 jar of chili sauce
1 15 oz!. can tomato sauce
2 stalks of celery diced
1 green pepper diced
1 large onion diced
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste!.
Brown ground beef, drain off grease!. Add the remaining ingredients in a dutch oven!. Cover and bake for 1 1/2 hours!. If the mixture still looks a little thin take the lid off and bake 1/2 more!. This can be made in advance and the morning of the bash put it in a warmer or slow cooker on low til lunch!. Serve on regular hamburger buns!. I also serve potato chips with these sandwiches!.
If this sounds good to you, then you can double this recipe!.
Hope this helps you out!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pulled pork sandwiches topped with cole slaw!. Slow cook about 3 picnic hams on slow temp of 250 for about 12 hours til its falling off the bone with your favorite spices (Paprika, garlic powder, onion powder cayenne pepper salt, pepper and whatever else you like) Let meat cool then pull off the meat to shred it, place meat in a tin tray and add your favorite bbq sauce cover tins with foil and just reheat when ready to use!. You can do this at home before party!. Then serve on hamburger buns and top with coleslaw!. That you can get prepackaged and just add some onion and mayo to save you time!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
My sister has this recipe for HOT POTATO CASS!.
You boil the potatoes then add shredded cheese, cooked crumbled bacon, mayo and pickle relish!. It is very simple and except for the cheese inexpensive!. We just always add the ingredients to taste!. It is all placed into a pan and baked at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and top is brown!.
You can also make the day before, refrigerate and then bake the day of!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I like making chicken drumettes and wings ahead and serving cold!.
My favorite flavor is taco-fried chicken, which is basically like pan frying regular but adding taco seasoning to the flour mixture!. Great with ranch dressing!Www@FoodAQ@Com
