Does anyone know how to make blondies?!


Question: Does anyone know how to make blondies!?

Here's a good recipe!. I like to add brickle or toffee pieces to make it extra buttery!.!.!.

***Blondies***

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon milk
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts


DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C)!. Grease and flour one 8x8 inch pan!.
Combine shortening and milk in large saucepan!. Place over low heat until butter melts!. Remove from heat, add the brown sugar and egg!. Stir until well blended!.
Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into sugar mixture!. Stir in vanilla and nuts!. Spread evenly into prepared pan!.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean!. Cool and cut into 2x2 inch squares!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Butterscotch Blondies
1/4 cup butter melted
1 egg
1 tsp!. baking powder
1/2 tsp!. vanilla
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp!. salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 small package butterscotch morsels (optional)
Combine butter, sugar, then egg!. Sift together dry ingredients!.
Add to creamed mixture!. Add vanilla and nuts!. Pour into greased
and floured 8 by 8 square pan!. Sprinkle butterscotch morsels on
top!. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutesWww@FoodAQ@Com

We always called butterscotch brownies "Blondies"!.

If that's what you're talking about, use your favorite tollhouse cookie recipe and substitute butterscotch chips for the chocolate ones!. I like adding slivered almonds as well!.
