Layeres Sushi does not involve rolling or sheets of seaweed, but does require a trip to a local asian market!. For a great summer appetizer- it can't be beat, and has no real sushi- raw fish, as the imitation crab is a cooked product!.

8Place a sheet of wax paper on top and pack firmly!. An easy way to pack the rice is to place another 9x13 pan on top and lightly press down!.

Buy large white mushrooms and wipe clean!. Assume 2 - 3 mushrooms caps per person!. This recipe is for 12 caps!.
But you will always need about 3 - 4 extra mushrooms!.
Remove the stem - keep cap intact!.
Chop the extra caps ( 3 -4 ) in a small dice!. Put in bowl!.
Using Progesso Italian bread crumbs, place 1 teaspoon for each cap you will stuff!.
Season with a bit of garlic powder and oregano, a bit of ground pepper!.
Melt half a stick of butter in a microwave or pot!. Add the melted butter plus 2 tsp of olive oil into the bread crumbs and chopped mushrooms!.
Spoon this mixture carefully into each cap!. Mound it!.
Place stuffed caps upright in a pyrex dish or other baking dish!. Lightly add olive oil around and on mushrooms!. Add two tablespoons butter to pan!. Sprinkle with oregano and parsely!.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes!.

* 1 dash ground black pepper
* 1 dash garlic powder
* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/4 teaspoon paprika
* 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 10 chicken wings
DIRECTIONS
1!. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C)!. The oil should be just enough to cover wings entirely, an inch or so deep!. Combine the butter, hot sauce, pepper and garlic powder in a small saucepan over low heat!. Stir together and heat until butter is melted and mixture is well blended!. Remove from heat and reserve for serving!.
2!. In a small bowl mix together the flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt!. Place chicken wings in a large nonporous glass dish or bowl and sprinkle flour mixture over them until they are evenly coated!. Cover dish or bowl and refrigerate for 60 to 90 minutes!.

Spread 1 block of cream cheese evenly in bottom of bowl!.
Spread 1/2 of tomato mixture on top of cream cheese!.
Spread another block of cream cheese evenly over tomatoes!.
Then spread remaining tomato mixture, then 3rd block!.
Cover & chill for 3 hours until firm!. Loosen plastic wrap!.
Invert spread onto large serving plate, discard plastic!.
Garnish with basil leaves!. Serve with crackers!.

2 tbsp!. sweet pepper flakes
9 drops Tobasco
1/4 tsp!. garlic salt
SAUCE:
3/4 c!. catsup
1/2 c!. water
1/4 c!. vinegar
1/3 c!. firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp!. instant minced onion
1 tsp!. mustard
1 1/2 tsp!. salt
4 tsp!. Worcestershire
6 drops Tobasco
Mix all ingredients except sauce!. Shape into 1 inch balls!. Place single layer of meatballs in ungreased 15 x 10 jelly roll pan or 13 x 9 inch pan!. Bake at 325 degrees F!. for 30 minutes!. Place meatballs in casserole!. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs!. Bake 1 hour longer!.

6 oz cream cheese, softened
5 tbsp butteror margerine,melted and divided
2 cups diced cooked chicken
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp minced onions
2 tbsp diced pimentos
2 cans of cresent rolls
Preheat oven to 350
Mix together cream cheese and 3 tbsp melted butter
Add chicken, milk,pepper, onions and pimentos
Separate each cresent roll into 4 rectangles
Divide chicken filling and spoon in the center of each rectangle
Bring ends together and pinch shut
Brush with melted butter
Place on greased cookie sheet

I went to a reception once where all the appetizers were served as do it yourself fondue!.!.!.!.!.!.There were all kinds of little pots with small sterno underneath with heated cheese dips served with bread chunks, veggie pieces and assorted meat cubes ( rib-eye & chicken)!.!.!.!.!.!.For something sweet, there were different fruit type hot dips with assorted fruits & shortcake for dipping!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Very unique & quite tasty too!Www@FoodAQ@Com
