Snack suggestions..?!
So recently I've had a loss of appetite during the day!. I'm sure it has to do with the heat, its really hot where i live!. But I end up eating something like water or green tea and a bag of chips or a granola bar until I get home at night, then my stomach hurts from not eating!.!.!.so I'm looking for some suggestions on tasty snacks that are easy and summery!.!.any suggestions!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

For a healthy snack, make your own Trail Mix using a combination of any or all of the following - you will get protein and fiber and it is light:
Dried cranberries
Dried cherries
Raisins
Dates
Fancy Mixed Nuts - salted or unsalted, your choice
Dried Mango
Dried Papaya
Coconut flakes
M&Ms
Banana chips
Apple chips
Dried Peaches
Dried Blueberries
Dried Pineapple
Granola
Keep in a sealed container or ZipLock bags to keep fresh!.
Buy some already prepared celery sticks, baby carrots, radishes, cherry or grape tomatoes and eat with some salad dressing on the side for dipping!.!.!.Or buy your own favorite veggies, clean and cut them up and keep them in the fridge for easy access and snacking!.
Buy containers of already cleaned and cut up fresh fruits from the produce section of your grocery store, or prepare your own, and again keep them in a covered container in your fridge and reach for the fruit instead of the chips or granola bar!.
You can take any of the above in sealed containers with you to snack on during the day at school or work!.

I like things that come in small bites and that are juicy, and fruit meets both definitions!. I like to buy several containers of raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and then various melons and cut them up into small pieces!. I will either make a berry salad or a melon salad, and add some vanilla yogurt as a "dressing!." For a sweeter alternative to the vanilla yogurt, you could buy a pre-made "fruit yogurt dip" which is also very tasty, or find a recipe online!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Try making a big bag of homemade trail mix- Raisins, walnuts, peanuts, dried banana chips, and M&Ms are great for a mix, as well as other types of nuts and dried fruits!. They will give you energy!.

cheese sticks are easy to carry in your purse!. try carnation breakfast drink in cans , ensure etc!. they might not be cold but have lotsa nutrician!. chemo nurse told me to have them if i couldn't eat or was sick after treatment!. some of these come in bars but i hav eno idea as to the nutrician!. protein fills you up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Go with friuts and veggies!.!.!.cheese!.!.!.yogurt!.!.!.whole grain bread/cereal/crackers!. I really like cranberry trail mix and Welch's fruit snacks too!.!.!.but try not to go overboard with the sugar!. carry round fruit its gr8 u can have it in ur bag, or raw veg ie carrots/celery!. or have smoothies u must eat properly in hot weather even if you are not hungry, water is very good but defo not a meal substitute!! bananas are good for energy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Well, i love 100 calorie packs!. they come in all different ones to!. If you like fruit in the morning befor you go to work you can make a fruit salad or frest pinapple, water melon, apples are all good!.

You could try buying a variety of melons and cubing them up and take a melon salad with you in a small container!. Melons are cool, refreshing and have a high water content so they keep you hydrated!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
