You can always buy Boca patties or Morning Star patties!. But if you want to make them!.!.!.
Bean Patty:
Boil one of these (peas, chickpeas, black beans, lentils, whatever type of beans you like) until they are very soft in just water!. While that's cooking, cook finely chopped onions, mushrooms, & carrots in olive oil until all are soft (cook carrots first, then add in mushrooms and onions)!. When the beans are cooked, blend it in a blender or food processor and make it smooth (make sure you drain all the water first thoroughly)!. Add in bread crumbs & eggs until you get a pretty thick mixture!. Stop blending, mix in salt, pepper, (whatever spice you want) with the bean mixture!. Now, add that to the mushroom/onion/whatever veggie you cooked ahead of time in a big bowl!. Form it into patties and cook it on a pan with oil until it becomes brownish!. Then flip and cook until borwnish!.
That's a recipe I came up with so sorry I don't have measurements of stuff but it's pretty basic!. Cook however much you need & season to your taste =)

Just get a big portobello mushroom - brush it with olive oil; sprinkle with garlic salt & oregano and grill on both sides!. Put that onto the bun with lettuce, tomato & onion, and whatever condiments you like !.!.!.!.!.!. SO easy to do, and you'll be eating sort-of what everyone else is eating:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
