Steak is nice cooked in beer but the most important thing is, don't keep flipping it over!. If your hubby likes it rare, cook it on one side just until the blood starts coming to the top of the steak and then flip it!. If he likes it medium then cook on the one side for a little bit longer and so on and so on!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Start with a good cut of meat such as a rib steak from a butcher!. Season with salt and pepper!.

Heat up a cast iron frying pan on the stove with a 1tsp of peanut oil until the oil just begins to smoke!. Sear the steak in the pan for about a minute - it should will release itself from the pan when it's ready to be turned over!. Turn it over, add a large knob of butter and place the steak in the oven set at 300 degrees!. Use an instant read thermometer to tell when it is done - roughly 10 minutes - for med rare!. Pull out the steak and baste the juices over it with a spoon and let rest for 5 minutes!.

First, you must kill the beast yourself! You must beat the young animal until it is tender and then soak it in the milk of a virgin!. After that BBQ or whatever!.!.!.

edit: if there are any cooks on this web-site you would KNOW that to get a GOOD steak to "melt in your mouth" you would have to use weird tenderizers like pappain or other unnatural additives!.!.!.which is GROSS! Only bad cooks or multi-natural chains would like junk like that!

I order my beef from a farm that uses old style feeding methods ie free range grass finished beef!.!.!.it tastes great BUT will not melt in your mouth!.!.!.it requires chewing!.!.!.for gods sake!.!.!. not tough but it is not CHEMICALLY TREATED!. If you like Safeway food!.!.!.go for it- but this (supposedly is a cooks forum) so who would want to eat that crap!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

first you need to choose the right steak, plane and simple the cheaper the steak the longer you cook it on a low heat, In fact try cooking it in the oven covered so it does not dry out, you can always finish it under the grill or in the frying pan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

have your pan really hot and sear the steak on the first side for about 4 mins for medium then turn over and do the other side for 4 mins!. Turn only once!. Put the steak on a plate and leave it on the workbench for 5 mins to rest before serving!. A rib eye or porterhouse/sirloin steak will be very tender this way!. Buy your meat from the butcher if possible!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you can either Braize it, Marinade it, or use tenderizer powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Choose a really good cut of meat, i prefer a bone-in ribeye!. Lightly seasoned and brushed with olive oil, cooked till medium rare!. Cant go wrongWww@FoodAQ@Com
