Buy a bag of elbow macaroni, get a pound of good LEAN hamburger, and get some GOOD cheddar cheese !.!.!. get medium sharp if you are feeding someone who doesn't really like cheese, or get EXTRA SHARP if everyone likes cheese!. Shred approximately 1/2 pound of the cheese and set aside!. Boil the macaroni and drain it, then crumble fry the hamburger, add 2 teaspoons of butter or margarine and the macaroni and stir until the macaroni is hot!. Add the shredded cheese and stir !.!.!. as the cheese melts, you may add a tiny bit of milk to make it 'smoother!.' Serve up and use salt and pepper to taste!. Taste it first, though, because there is ALWAYS salt in the cheese and you may over-salt it!. To make this a 'slightly different' meal, you can add any or all of the following: I clove (I section of a bulb) of garlic, chopped finely or crushed), 1/4 cup of Swiss cheese, pepper jack cheese, and/or gorgonzola or blue cheese, 2 cups of COOKED peas, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, or carrots!. You may also add chili powder and a tiny bit of cayenne pepper if you want a 'Mexican style meal!.' You may also add corn, black beans, and salsa !.!.!. so now that you have the 'basic recipe' start cooking and see how many DIFFERENT ways you can cook and serve this very BASIC dish!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's a recipe that I would recommend, except I would add in a couple of cups of shredded cheese at the end - some right in there and some on top:
1 pound ground beef
1 yellow onion, chopped
Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Dash crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 large can (28 oz) of diced tomatoes
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 cups uncooked macaroni (use rice pasta for wheat-free version)
And here's the link to the recipe with directions and other people's tips!.
