Question: I need a new idea for what to do with ground beef!.!?
I'm sick of tacos, chili, spaghetti, hamburger helper & hamburgers!.
Please someone!.!.!. a fresh idea for what I can do with some ground beef!?

Fry the hamburger with as much onion as you like,(salt and pepper)when hamburger is cooked, drain if needed,add a can of Cream of chicken soup,and 1/2 can milk to make hamburger gravy,serve over mashed potato's,or wide egg noodles,we even like it over bread!.

Stuffed peppers, Stuffed cabbage, Goulash are all different and good!.

Stuffed Peppers with Rice

6 ounce box Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice
5 medium green peppers
1 1/2 pounds hamburger
1/2 cup chopped onion
chopped pepper tops
1 can tomato soup
6 ounce can tomato paste
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
generous dash of pepper
pinch of parsley
5 slices American cheese
paprika

Remove tops and seeds from peppers!.
Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes!. Drain and cool!.
Brown hamburger, onion and pepper tops!. Add soup, paste, cooked rice and seasoning!.
Stuff peppers!. Arrange in a 1 1/2 quart casserole!.
Place strips of cheese on the tops!. Sprinkle with paprika!.

Try this ground beef take off of the Greek Gyro!.

Greek Beef Wraps

Prep: 20 min!., Cook: 9 min!. We call for flatbread wraps, but this delicious beef mixture would also be great in flour tortillas or pita pockets!.


1 pound ground round
1 small red onion, chopped
1 teaspoon Greek seasoning
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt, divided
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, and grated
1 (8-oz!.) container sour cream
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill weed
6 garden-spinach flatbread wraps
3 plum tomatoes, finely chopped
1 (4-oz!.) package crumbled feta cheese

1!. Cook first 4 ingredients and 1/4 tsp!. salt in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring often, 7 to 9 minutes or until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain well on paper towels!.
2!. Stir together cucumber, next 3 ingredients, and remaining 1/4 tsp!. salt!. Spoon 2 Tbsp!. cucumber mixture down center of each wrap; top with beef mixture, tomatoes, and feta!. Roll up, and serve with remaining cucumber mixture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Turkish Meatballs (There great man)
Ingredients
1 cup fine fresh breadcrumb
1 lb lean ground lamb
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon dried mint
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons parsley
1 egg
1 tablespoon olive oil

1!. Make the bread crumbs by breaking up 2 slices of stale but not dried out whole wheat bread into the bowl of a food processor!.

2!.Whizz until finely crumbed!.

3!.Add the ground lamb and the egg, and process until blended!.

4!. Add the spices, garlic and parsley!.

5!.Process the meat well to achieve a fine texture!.

6!.Roll the mixture into small meatballs or finger shaped patties using dampened hands!.

8!. Heat the oil in a heavy skillet, and fry the balls or patties until cooked through and evenly browned!.

9!. The meatballs should be stirred several times, the patties turned once!.

There Great with tahini sauce, on a bed of rice or in a pita!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pizza Joes

2 lb hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped green peppers
28 oz jar pizza sauce
3!.5 oz pkg sliced pepperoni, chopped
1 tsp basil leaves
1/2 tsp oregano leaves
( or sub!. italian seasoning)
18 sandwich buns, split
8 ounces shredded Mozzarella cheese

In 12 in!. skillet, brown hamburger and onion
Drain
Spray cooker
Sppon meat mixture into crock
Add green pepper!. pizza suace,pepperoni,, and seasonings
Cover, cook on low for 4-6 hours
Spoon 1/3 cup of mixture on bottom of buns
Top each 2 tbsp of cheese
Cover with top bun

COCKTAIL MEATBALLS

1 lb!. ground beef
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c!. cracker crumbs
2 tbsp!. instant minced onion
2 tbsp!. sweet pepper flakes
9 drops Tobasco
1/4 tsp!. garlic salt

SAUCE:

3/4 c!. catsup
1/2 c!. water
1/4 c!. vinegar
1/3 c!. firmly packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp!. instant minced onion
1 tsp!. mustard
1 1/2 tsp!. salt
4 tsp!. Worcestershire
6 drops Tobasco

Mix all ingredients except sauce!. Shape into 1 inch balls!. Place single layer of meatballs in ungreased 15 x 10 jelly roll pan or 13 x 9 inch pan!. Bake at 325 degrees F!. for 30 minutes!. Place meatballs in casserole!. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs!. Bake 1 hour longer!.

Ten Minute Dinner

1 Pound ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
* 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) cream of mushroom soup, undiluted*
*1 can ( 10 3/4 ounces) cream of chicken soup, undiluted*
1 can (15 ounces) mixed vegetables, drained
1 can (5 ounces) chow mein noodles

Brown beef and onion; add both soups, mixed vegetables and 3/4 can of chow mein noodles!. Pour into casserole dish!. Top with remaining chow mein noodles!. Bake at 400 degrees F!. for 10 minutes or until hot!.

NOTE: *Golden Mushroom with Sliced Mushrooms Soup can be substituted for the Cream of Mushroom soup OR Chicken Rice soup can be substituted for the Cream of Chicken soup!.*

You could use it to make Hamburger Strogenoff with lots of fresh mushrooms and sliced onions in a rich sour cream gravy; saute it with some garlic, sweet onions, red, green and yellow bell peppers, celery and carrots, add some frozen sweet corn and green peas and cook until heated through - toss with your choice of cooked pasta and serve; make a hamburger 'stew' using browned ground beef, stewed tomatoes, frozen carrots and diced potatoes ir hash browns; Swedish meatballs over rice or egg noodles; meatballs in BBQ sauce or Sweet and Sour sauce!.!.!.

MUFFIN MEATLOAFS
1 egg
1/2 c!. milk
3/4 c!. oats
1 pound hamburger
3 tbsp!. chopped onion (optional)
1 tsp!. salt
1/2!. grated cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees!. Lightly grease cups in muffin pan!.
Combine all ingredients; mix well!. Spoon mixture into lightly greased muffin cups!. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes or until meat is cooked through!.
Cool slightly before removing from muffin cups!.

PIZZA RICE CASSEROLE
3/4 pound ground beef
1 medium onion
2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
1 tsp!. sugar
1 tsp!. salt
1 tsp!. dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp!. garlic powder
1/4 tsp!. oregano
Dash pepper
2 cups cooked rice (I use Success rice)
1/2 cup small-curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
--- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain!. Add the tomato sauce, sugar, salt, parsley, garlic powder, oregano and pepper!. Bring to a boil!. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes!. While the hamburger mixture is simmering, combine the rice and cottage cheese in a bowl; spoon half into a greased baking dish!. Top with half of the meat mixture!. Repeat layers!. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese!. Bake, uncovered, at 325' for 30-35 minutes or until heated through and bubbly!. Hamburger Pie
1# ground beef
1/2 c!. chopped onion
2- 16oz cut green beans, drained
1- 10 3/4 oz condensed tomato soup
1/4c!. of water
salt and pepper to taste
3-4 med potatoes, peeled and quartered
1 beaten egg
milk
1/2 c!. shredded chedder cheese
Cook hamburger and onion till meat is browned and onion is tender; drain off grease!.
Stir in beans, soup, water and season with salt and pepper!.
Place mixture in a pan!.
Cook potatoes in salted boiling water about 20 min or until tender; drain!. mash while hot; stir in egg!. Add enough milk to make potatoes fluffy, yet stiff enough to hold their shape!. Season with salt and pepper!.
spread potatoes on top of meat mixture!. Sprinkle with cheese!.
Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes!.
makes 4-6 servings (Can use instant potatoes!. Make according to package but omit the butter!. Remember: NO BUTTER to the mashed potatoes)

Clare's meatloaf- Maui Island Cookbook
1/2 c!. Grape-Nuts cereal
1 pound hamburger
1/4 c!. chopped onion
1/2 c!. water
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp!. salt
Italian Seasoning to taste
Mix Grape Nuts and water; let stand for 2-3 minutes!. Combine rest of ingredients; mix well!. In a greased pan, shape into loaf!. Bake one hour at 350'!. To get moist loaf, cover with aluminum foil for first 30 minutes and then remove!. NOTE: This meatloaf is good and VERY moist!. I let it bake for 50 minutes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
