I need foods to prepare for children at vacation bible school?!


Question: I need foods to prepare for children at vacation bible school!?
our church is having vacation bible school the 23 thru the 27 and I need help with ideas for what would be good to prepare for the children to eat !. Our theme is big backyard any one that could help would be appreciated this is the first one that I have had to prepare foodWww@FoodAQ@Com

I'm not sure if you mean full meals (lunch) or just snacks!.!.!. so here's a mix of both, trying to stay within your backyard theme!.!.!.

BBQ type foods (of course will no grill if the little ones are around) Hot dogs, chicken nuggets (or patties), hamburgers

Cut fresh fruit!. Watermelon, apple slices, oranges, grapes, bananas

Veggies! ants on a log, cucumber slices, mini carrots!.!.!. at summer camp I used to serve carrots and celery with either peanut butter or ranch!. Even the kids who didn't LIKE veggies would still eat them!.

Other snacks!.!.!. goldfish crackers, trail mix, popcorn, graham crackers (why not add marshmallows and chocolate!.!.!.!.), vanilla wafers, mini bagels,

finger foods,alot of kids actually like thier veggies and dip,sandwhiches cheese water melon !.crackers,pretzels,celery and pb !.juice boxes ,water,Www@FoodAQ@Com

you could make cupcakes in icecream cones, its not very healthy but my son loves them, he also loves to help decorate them!.!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Trail mix, ants on a log, cookies shaped like leaves and things that have to do with nature!.
