Question: What is the appropriate beverage to serve with blackened frog legs!?
I really want this dinner party to be a class act, and should I use boxed scalloped potatoes as a side or instant mashed!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I would serve an assortment of imported beers!.

By the way!.!.!.instant potatoes are not a class act! Try my recipe for Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes!. It's really easy, and everyone will love it! (I double the recipe when serving a crowd!.)

? cup lite mayonnaise
2 tablespoons flour
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 cup skim milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
4 cups thinly sliced raw potatoes (I leave the skins on!.)
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
salt

Spray 10x6-inch baking dish with Pam!. Preheat oven to 350 degrees!. In a medium saucepan, combine mayo, flour and pepper!. Over medium heat, gradually add milk, stirring until thickened!. Add Cheddar cheese; stir until melted!. Place potatoes in baking dish; sprinkle with salt and then pour sauce over potatoes!. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese!. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes, or until potatoes are tender!. Serves 6!.

Have a great party!Www@FoodAQ@Com

why not make real potatoes!. Steam some baby potatoes in a steam bag or on the stove, then throw them in an oven safe dish with some butter salt and pepper and broil them until they are golden brown, they are soooo gooood!! I think the best beverage that goes with frog legs is Beer isnt it!?!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Definitely skin on mashed (real)!. Maybe a side of herb-roasted asparagus and a nice delicate white!. I haven't tried blackened frog-legs!. What time is dinner!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Scalloped potatoes, I would think a nice dark beer or pale ale would be good to serve with that!. Get some nice beer glasses and chill them!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

White wine!. If you really want it to be a "class act"
I would buy some real patatoes and do a lumpy mash!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
