I keep a list of meals on my comp!. of things that I know I can cook and that are family favorites!. Then I rotate the meals, starting at the top of the list, then the bottom, then in the middle, and so on!. You will continuously think of new things to add to the list! And when you try a new recipe, which I usually do on the weekends, I add it to the list if we like it!. Just start out simple!. The basic stuff, meatloaf, spaghetti, casseroles!.!.!.!. You'll think of a lot of stuff eventually!. The idea to have your kids help is really good! I would have never thought of that!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Thats a good idea!.!.!. and you could incorporate into any plan!.

My mom in law used to buy family circle for the monthly meal calender!.!.!. not even sure if they still print that!. I did it for long time substituting on some days!.

also there is a cook book that give you 365 days of meals that are alredy planned out and pantry list etc!.!.!.!. you can sub from that ( i think I bought mine at target)!.

There ae some websites where families have meal plans sent weekly!.!.!. I signed up for one through yahoo groups for 30 day freezer plan !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

That sounds like a great idea ask them what they like to eat!. And then sit down with a Calender and plan what you all want!.Then write down what you need to get from the store that you do not have at home already, so you don't end up with too much of something and wasting food and/or money!.
If you need good ideas you can watch Quick Fix with Robin Miller on the FoodNetwork!. That is a great show for planning stuff ahead!.

Hope I helped you!. Have fun planning :-)Www@FoodAQ@Com
