Baking Brownies!?!?!

Question: Baking Brownies!!?!!?
I am baking brownies at my friends house!. They have Droste Cocoa, is that the same as regular cocoa powder that you bake brownies with!?!? Thanks for your helpWww@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
yes, it is fine!.!.!.!.

don't taste it!.!.!.!.!.plain cocoa is terrible!.!.!. no matter what brand, it does not have sugar and it will be bitter,,,just use it, I'm sure the brownies will be great!!!

I've been baking for 30 years!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

You need to use the recipe on the box!. If you use a regular recipe it might taste "soapy" because it is Dutch Processed cocoa!. Something about the alkaline reaction to the baking powder!. Don't ask me why! It's scientific! But the recipe on the box will make nice brownies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's Droste unsweetened cocoa powder, it's the same as Dutch process cocoa and fine for brownies!. Although, many people don't think it has quite as rich a chocolate flavor as regular cocoa powder!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Cocoa is cocoa in each and every way!. Bake them with it, and eat it!.!.!.make it an experiment if you will!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

just buy betty crocker brownie mixWww@FoodAQ@Com

i don't know!. taste itWww@FoodAQ@Com
