Would a grated extra sharp cheddar cheese blend with cream cheese to make a cheese ball?!
Answers:
It would be great; I would toss some dried cherries or cranberries in the mix as well, to offset the richness of the cheese, and cheese and fruit pear so well as well (pun intended)!.
As far as the nuts, I would use a TOASTED nut, such as caramelized walnuts or pecans!.!.!.!.!.!.!.another good favorite is crushed dry roasted salted peanuts and an equal amount of honey roasted cashews!.!.!.!.!.!.Oh, and if you have some jarred roasted red peppers, you could make like a Pimiento Cheese Ball!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Enjoy

Just remember anything watery like onions or olives will keep the ball soft, if you want a smooth texture, run it in a food processor, add a small amount of butter, if you use onions I use dehydrated ones, garlic to is fine but again a powder or granules is preferable!.
Anything you add is going to change the texture so if you roll it in nuts or herbs the drier the better!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes that would work!.!.!. I use 1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix , 1 can of chicken (I break down the chunks into smaller pieces), and 2 packages of Cream Cheese!. Mix all together and chill for 30 mins!. I put out slices of baguette out and triskets for spreading!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Yes, it will!. It won't be perfectly smooth, but cheese balls don't have to be!. They just have to stick together and be spreadable!.
