Refrigerating Friendship Bread??!

Question: Refrigerating Friendship Bread!?!?
I know you aren't supposed to refrigerate the Amish Frienship Bread starter, but during the summer months my kitchen gets so hot that it dies!. Is it at all possible to be able to put it into the refrigerater!? If so, how often do I need to feed it!?

Thank you for any and all help!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Amish Friendship Bread is a genuine starter bread!.It's a special starter in powder form that can be activated with flour and water!. Don't use metal spoons or equipment!. Do not refrigerate!. Use only glazed ceramic or plastic bowls or containers!.
