What are the steps for grilling with charcoal?!
SOmeone give the steps to perfect grilling!.!.!.how much time you wait in between each step, etc!.

Take rack off grill, wash and dry thoroughly!. prepare a spray water bottle with water and take to the grill with you for flare ups!. Then!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
1!. pile charcoal in a pyramid
2!. spray liberallly with lighter fluid
3!. wait 10 min!. for fluid to soak in!.
4!. light charcoal all the way around the bottom of the stack!.
5!. wait 15-20 minutes or until coals are white
and you can no longer smell the fluid!.
6!. spray rack with nonstick spray "AWAY FROM FLAME"
7!. replace rack on grill
8!. add food
9!. close lid, keep an eye on food but don't continously move it!. you'll know one side is done when you lift up on the food and it doesn't stick to the grill!.
10!. when food no longer sticks to the grill flip it over and close lid!.
11!. keep checking it or use a meat thermometer to check for doneness!.
try to keep lid closed as much as possible, it keeps the heat in and all that delicious smoke!. Whatever you do, don't walk off and leave it, because it only takes a split second for the fire to flare and burn your food to a crisp!.
Good luck, if you follow these steps you should enjoy grilling as much as i do!. I been doing it for 40 yrs and in all kinds of weather!. BTW, big tip is to make sure you have everything you will need with you so you don't have to make trips back into the kitchen for anything and leave the food unattended!.

Light your grill
when charcoal is white, then place your food on the rack (I cover my rack with Reynolds wrap!. spray with PAM and punch holes in it)
