Anyone have a good recipe to doctor up a white cake mix?!
I would like to make a yummy dessert for my husband for Father's Day tomorrow!. I have the cake mix and the white frosting, but I am looking for ideas on how to make it better! Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Take hershey syrup and do a swirl into cake mix after it has been put in baking pan!. take knife and do a follow through of syrup so it will get into cake mis and it will make pretty inside of cake!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Here are some ideas:
1!. Split your cake layers horizontally so that you have 4 layers!. Make a filling of french vanilla pudding mixed with half of the required milk and half with CoolWhip!. Top filling with fresh sliced strawberries, sweetened!. Frost the cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and top with sliced strawberries and chocolate shavings!.
2!. Mix 3 ripe bananas into your cake batter, along with 1 cup chopped candied walnuts!. Bake in bundt pan!. Frost with Cream Cheese glaze and garnish wiht chopped candied pecans!.
3!. Between layers, place cherry pie filling and sliced almonds!. Frost with white chocolate ganache (white chocolate melted with whipping cream and vanilla)
4!. Bake your cake in a 9x13 inch pan!. When cooled, poke holes in top and spoon on crushed pineapple!. Top with vanilla pudding, sliced bananas and coconut!. Frost with whipped cream!.
5!. Make cake according to pan directions, using almond extract instead of vanilla!. Blend sweetened condensed milk with 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice to thicken!. Fold in 1/2 pint of whipping cream, whipped with 1/2 tsp vanilla and 1/2 tsp almond extract!. Place between layers and top with canned raspberry pie filling!. take the juice from the can and mix the cake up with it and 2 eggs and a bit of milk just enough to make a soft dough pour it into a floured pan,, then pour the pineapple in and scattering it around , in a pan warm a stick of butter and add 1/2 cup of brown sugar and mix well untill melted swirl that into the cake ,,,bake as directed remove and put the cake out onto the serving tray !.!.!.mix the frosting with spoon of vanilla and enough milk to make it creamy and drizzle it over the cake while warm then let it all cool or serve warm with ice creamWww@FoodAQ@Com

Set aside 1/3 of the batter and mix that with melted chocolate till nice and brown!. In the meantime pour the rest of the batter in cake pan and drizzle the chocolate batter on top and with a knife slash swirls throughout the batter!. then bake !. When sliced it'll look like a marble cake!. On the frosting sprinkle some chocolate or colored sprinkles!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Coconut Cream Cake
Ingredients:
1 Cake Mix (boxed) - French Vanilla
1 Container French Vanilla frosting
1 Can Lopez cream of coconut
1 Package shredded coconut
Food Color (optional)
Preparation:
Prepare cake mix as directed on box!. When cake is
done, remove from oven and poke holes in it with
a straw!. Pour cream of coconut into holes while cake
is still hot!. Let cake cool to room temperature and
then frost!. Pour coconut over whole cake!. Food color
is in case you want to color the coconut!.
BOUNTIFUL BLUEBERRY CAKE
1 quart blueberries, fresh or frozen (use 2 quarts to
make recipe in a 13 x 9-inch pan)
1/2 cup granulated sugar (or use firmly packed
brown sugar or raw sugar for added richness)
1 (18!.25 ounce) box cake mix (lemon, white, yellow
or pineapple flavor)
1/2 cup butter, or more as required
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F!. Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish
Place blueberries into prepared baking dish; sprinkle sugar evenly over
berries!.
