What Cheese types should i use for garlic bread? and what cooking method?!
hello i've been attempting to make garlic bread for the most part it has turned out ok but i would like to know which of the following are the best to use with it!?
1!.what is the best type of bread i have gotten mixed answers!? im currently using french bread
2!.what types of cheese should i use!? right now i use a mix of mozzerrala, Romano, and Kraft Parmassion
3!.how should i cook it!? ive tried three different methods which are:
1!.just broil it in the oven on the highest rack at 500Fdegree's!. 2!.Bake it in the oven on lowest rack at 350F for 8 minutes, and finnaly a mixture of baking it for 6minutes on 350F then broil it at 500F for about a 1minute!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

2!. I like your combo, even provolone is fine, swiss also
3!. I start with room temp bread and garlic butter/spread, spread it on let it sit then broil until lightly toasted, extract, add the cheese add let it melt a lightly brown!.

The bread is a good choice, the cheeses sound good and I use method "C" to bake mine: bake it a little and run it under the broiler!. If you like the bread a bit crispier, broil each side before adding the garlic and cheese mixture!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Monterey Ranch Bread
2 c!. shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
3/4 c!. ranch salad dressing with bacon
1 loaf (1-lb!.) unsliced French bread
2 T!. butter or margarine, melted
minced fresh parsley, opt!.
In a bowl, combine cheese and salad dressing; set aside!. Cut bread in
half lengthwise; brush with butter!. Place on baking sheet!. Broil 4-
in!. from heat until golden brown!. Spread with cheese mixture!. Bake at
350 degrees for 10 - 15 min!. or until cheese is melted!. Sprinkle with
parsley!. Cut into 1 1/2-in!. slices!.
Parmesan Garlic Bread
What Italian meal would be complete without garlic bread!? This spread is packed with plenty of flavor!.
Prep Time: 7 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Makes 12 servings
Ingredients:
1 loaf Italian bread
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon McCormick? Garlic Powder
1/4 teaspoon McCormick? Italian Seasoning
Directions:
1!. Preheat broiler!.
2!. Split bread in half horizontally and place, cut sides up, on work surface!. Combine remaining ingredients and spread on bread!.
3!. Place on broiler pan and brown lightly!.
Garlic Bread
1/2 cup nonfat Italian salad dressing
1/2 teaspoon paprika
4 cloves garlic -- peeled
1 french bread loaf -- sliced
1/4 cup parsley -- chopped
Preheat broiler!. Place dressing, paprika, and garlic cloves in a blender and process until well blended!.
Spread mixture on one side of bread slices and sprinkle with parsley!. Broil slices until they are lightly golden, being careful not to allow bread to burn!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
