If you are making a recipe that calls for a 9x13 pan, it absolutely means 1 cup plus 1/2 cup!. (Just a 1/2 cup would only be suitable for a very rich, almost fudge-like brownie in an 8x8 pan!. Good luck!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
