Answers:
I live in Australia too but I'm guessing your recipes have come from America because Cornmeal is just another name for Polenta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Instant polenta is cornmeal, if you want to try to look for it under another name!. If no success, then try coarsely grinding oatmeal in your blender or food processor!.!.!. it shouldn't be fine flour, but more like the consistency of fine dried bread crumbs!. You could mix it half and half with rice flour if you want, but rice flour on its own is not a good plan!. Instant couscous would probably work, but the oats and rice are healthier for the dogs!. (I wouldn't use a cornbread mix because it will contain leavening that will probably mess up the recipe and usually contains sugar and white flour too, which are not good for doggies!.)

Good Luck!!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i couldnt imagine not being able to find "corn meal" especially when it is, or, should be so plentiful on your grocery store shelves in the baking aisle, BUT, when i have needed justa tiny bit of cornemal to finish a recipe, i have substituted "semolina", the results weren't quite the same, but i got done what i needed to do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I agree with Charc, corn is not the best filler for dogs!. I always choose rice based dog foods!. If it has to be meal, you can buy whole grain rice and use your food processor to turn it into ricemeal, or as she said just substitute cooked rice!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

cooked rice and oats!. Maybe some old bread!. Corn is not that good for dogs, lot of dogs are allergic or can develop allergies to corn!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

there is a chance you can buy it online but corn bread mix should work the sameWww@FoodAQ@Com
