Answers:
Add a little butter to the noodles after draining them!.!. Stir it in and it should help them from sticking too badly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Before you cook the pasta make sure that the water is boiling and then only you put in the pasta!. You can put some salt into the water!. Cook al dente, stirring occassionally!. After it's done, drain it and put it under running tap water to stop it from over cooking and then drain it thoroughly!. Then, add a little bit of olive oil or any other oil that you prefer, mix it up well and it's ready to be served!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's not necessary to add oil to your cooking water!.!.it won't stick to your pasta anyway!. Just make sure when cooking, you stir it occassionally!., especially right after putting into the boiling water, and right before draining it!.

When it cools, all spaghetti will stick together, no matter how you cooked it!. Just run it under hot water in the colander, and it will loosen right up!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

to keep the pasta from sticking together make sure the pasta is cooked - if it is then after you drain the pasta stir a pat of butter (or oil) into the drained pasta - if you do not want to add any fat to your pasta then after you drain the pasta while it is in the strainer/drainer/colander run cold water over the pasta making sure the cold water passes every noodle - Alton Brown did mention this on an episode of Good Eats just the other day - he said that perhaps people added oil to the water to reduce the buildup of starch at the top of the boil (personally i add olive oil and salt to season the pasta as much as i can) - he said you don't have to use oil if you boil the pasta in A LOT of water - there should 3 inches of water above the pasta -Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you are using the pasta right away, toss it with your sauce as soon as you drain it!. If you are precooking the pasta for later use, toss it with a tiny bit of olive or vegetable oil immediately after draining it!. Keep in mind, that coating the pasta with any type of fat seals it and will keep it from absorbing flavours you may want to add later!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just need to stir it right after you add it to the boiling water!.This seperates the strands of spaghetti!.If you don't stir it,it remains in the clump you added!.

Another tip:don't rinse it with water, just drain and add the sauce!.This lets the sauce stick to the pasta!.If you rinse with water, the sauce slides right off!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Make sure your water is at a rolling boil and stir immediately after adding the noodles and for about 30 seconds to a minute and then occasionally!. Oil doesn't do anything, just sits on top of the water!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Just add alittle oil to the water in which you boil it!. You may find that stirring the pasta for a couple of minutes after putting it in the water will prevent it sticking also!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

make sure that water is boiling when you put the pasta in!. otherwise the pasta will stick together because the water is not hot enough!. season with salt!. it doesn't hurt put a little oil in it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

spray your pan with pam or some other non stick aresol as your spaghetti cooks it will help keep it from sticking together also if you have butter you can put 1 tablespoon into the water as you boil itWww@FoodAQ@Com

Make sure you have plenty of boiling water in the pot!. Some people add oil in the water but that only makes the sauce not want to stick to the pasta!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i don't add any oil to the cooking water as it can make it where the sauce doesn't sick!. instead, i put the pasta back in the pan after it's drained add a little sauce and mix it around!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

When your water is boiling add oil to it ,when it's done cooking drain and rinse with water and get it right into your sauce quick don't let it sit in the colander very long !.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Alton Brown proved the oil in the water false!.

Rinse it with very cold tap water immediately after cooking!.

It can be returned to fresh "warm" water befor serving!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
