No!. The mixture has too much liquid and moisture in it to be a cookie dough!. The little dollops of batter will just 'melt' and spread on the tray and turn out as weird, dried, cakey discs!. The texture wouldn't be the best!.

Cookie dough have different mixtures and compositions to a cake!. For one thing, the dough is a lot denser and stiffer than cake batter!. The only other thing you could do with cake batter is to make them as cupcakes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If you mix it just as it says on the box no, your batter will be a cake batter not a cookie dough!. Try this:
1 package chocolate cake mix
1/3 cup water
4 Tablespoon melted butter
1 large egg
1 Cup chocolate chips1/2 cup chopped nuts--pecans or walnuts
Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees F!. Grease 2 cookie sheets
Place cake mix, water, butter, egg in large mixing bowl!. Blend on low speed for 1 minute!. Stop mixer, scrape the sides of the bowl!. Increase the speed to med!. mix 1 more minute!. Stop mixer, scrape the bowl, stir in the nuts and chocolate chips!.
Drop by heaping spoon-fulls 2 inches apart on cookie sheets!. Bake 10-12 minutes!. Cookies will be set but look a little soft in the center!. Let cookies rest on pans for 1 minute!. Remove cookies to a wire rack to continue to cool!.
Repeat with the rest of the dough!.
Store cookies in airtight container at room temp!. for up to 1 week!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No!. They will be soupy blobs on your cookie sheet and will burn in the oven!. You could try a thinner pan to make a thinner cake and then cut into squares when cooled!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

No you will have mini cakes!. The cookies are made from a dough not batter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Nope, I think they'll rise way too much to be cookies!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
