Question: Does anyone have any sugestions for cooking lowfat high protein recipes for one!?
I work out at the gym alot!. I order from a chef single serving measured high protein prepared meals!. It's getting costly!. When I cooked for myself I wasted volumes of food and actually hated it!. Does anyone know of any good cook books that show how to cook lowfat meals for one person!? I live completly alone!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I buy whole salmon fillets and cut them into single serving portions!. I freeze them on a cookie sheet and then bag them when frozen!. For one (I'm alone a lot) I thaw one piece and cook any way I want!. Two of my favorites are: season with salt, pepper, and Old Bay or dill!. Put in the microwave for 2 minutes on high!. OR cook on the grill!. Perfect every time!. Side dish idea: Saute garlic in a tiny bit of extra virgin olive oil and add fresh spinach!. Cook until wilted to your likeness!. Add a squeeze of lemon!.
This is healthy, quick, and yummy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Okay!.!.!. your best bet!? FORGET ANYTHING THAT DIET TRENDS TELL YOU!!!

Carbs ARE YOUR FRIEND!!! Carbohydrates are what fuel your body and give you energy!. Do some research!.!.!. Sugars ARE BAD! Complex carbohydrates are your best friend!. (Think WHOLE GRAINS!!!)
Brown rice, whole grain breads, whole grain pastas, sweet potatoes, oatmeal - All excellent sources of fiber, B-Vitamins, and COMPLEX CARBOHYDRATES (Low sugar, Long lasting energy!)
Low fat, high protein meats and meat substitues: (Think Omega Fatty Acids and NOT cholesterol or saturated fats!)
Sensible options would be:
Grilled Salmon
Tuna Steaks (Taste suprisingly NOT FISHY!)
TOFU!!! - Think what you will - You wouldn't know you were eating it if it were cooked correctly into your favorite dish! Tofu is made from soybean curd (soybean being the single-most nutritious entity on the face of planet earth!!!)
Beans, Beans, The Magical Fruit!!! Forget what you've been told, beans are virtually fat-free! Though they taste better cooked with meat of some sort!.!.!. They are rich in Protein, Calcium, Fiber, Potassium, (the list could go on forever!) And the gaseous salute is just proof of your exceptionally healty diet! In short!.!.!. plan your meals on what your body requires to perform optimally!.!.!. and through out the ******* scale!!!Www@FoodAQ@Com
