Friends taught us to do this!. I just don't think a 'plain' grilled cheese sandwich is near as good!.

Ingredients
2 slices bread
2 slices your favorite cheese
butter
jelly
Directions
1 Butter one slice of bread and place in frying pan or on griddle!. Place cheese on bread!.
2 Butter the second slice of bread and place butter side up on top of cheese!.
3 Fry on medium heat until golden brown, turn over and fry other side of sandwich!. Remove from heat and spread jelly on the TOP of the sandwich and serve!.
4 I prefer mozzarella or Colby jack cheese with strawberry jelly or American cheese with grape jelly!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Light Mayonnaise on the outside of the bread (instead of butter, I like it better, personally!.!.!.)!. Inside, put some tuna fish (minus the mayo here, mostly because it makes a huge mess) and put cheese under and over it, so that your tuna is melted into the center!.

Yeah, I guess technically it's a tuna melt, but I've always liked these better than just regular cheese sandwiches!.

If you're looking for just a cheese sandwich, I recommend a couple different cheeses, maybe a slice of some cheddar, a slice of pepper jack, and maybe something a *little* more exotic, like a provolone (this actually tastes a lot better than it sounds)!. Follow the same instructions as above, as light mayo tends to cut some of the calories and fat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Put butter on two pieces of bread!. Place a piece of cheese in the middle (butter sides out on both pieces)!.

Put in a frying pan (so it would be bread w/ butter down, piece of cheese, bread w/butter side up) - it'll start to sizzle, you may want to flip it over a couple of times, so you cook a bit on each side!.

Voila!Www@FoodAQ@Com

make, butter - bread - cheese - bread - butter!.
turn the pan on while you're doing that!.
put the sandwich on, and i cover it with a pan lid to keep the heat in!.
turn it when you like the color on the bottom, and turn the heat down!.
it should be done in 1 minute!.

note, if you keep the butter out of the frig, it'll be warmer and it'll take you 2 miniutes less to make your sandwich!.
oh, if you have precut slices, it'll be quicker also!.

so, warm butter, and pre-sliced cheese might be the key you're looking for!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fire up the grill (broiler)

Make your sammie, adding some onion slices, and toast under the grill and when both sides are brown smear the top slice with softened butter and enjoy!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

2 pieces of bread toasted and buttered, cheese in the middle and microwave for 25 seconds!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

butter both sides put it in a skillet turn the tread over put the cheese in stack the bread when that side browns turn!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it shouldnt ever take more than five minutesWww@FoodAQ@Com
